I'm baaaaack with (some) pics

**UPDATE: pictures removed as this has now become an old thread**

Hello ladies,

I got back from Mexico late last night. I'm very glad I took today off, too, as I had to go down to the county office for a new marriage license. The officiant and my MOH both made errors on the form, so it was rejected. That was a fun thing to learn while sitting at the airport yesterday waiting for our connection home. Anyway, that's been taken care of. Now for the details! I don't have pro pics yet, but I've sprinkled a few photos for your viewing pleasure.

The day started bright and early for hair and makeup. While waiting for people to arrive, I started wrapping the bouquets and learned my peal pins were too long, so off to Home Depot I went for wire cutters. I got to hang out with my BMs, hairdresser, and DoC (BM's little sister). There were some tense moments while I was getting my hair done. It just wasn't turning out like I wanted. Eventually I sent the next BM in and worked on my hair myself. I got it how I wanted and my hairdresser touched it up for me. I'm really glad we allotted extra time, as we still ended up 15min late leaving for the venue.

My DoC was fantastic and already had set-up well in motion by the time the BMs and I arrived at the venue. The flowers were up, the cake was being decorated, and the photographers were on-site. We took a few photos pre-ceremony (me and the girls, H and the guys). Then it was showtime.

Here I am with my parents before the ceremony. Don't you love my mom's dress?

Here's the one place where things went wrong. It's time for the BMs to go down the aisle and I'm trying to hear what music is playing. I can finally hear it, and it's the wrong song. I start hissing to my coordinator that it's the wrong music. She tells me they'll change the song for my entrance, but I was livid. I walked in to the right song, but the BMs didn't.

The ceremony turned out to be super short! The next thing I knew, it was over. Fortunately, our venue was flexible and extended cocktail hour for us. Then H and I went out onto the golf course for photos. All the golfers cheered as we went by.

Me and my new niece (sorry, I'm looking at our photographer).

Entering the reception:

Everyone tells me dinner was good, but I could barely eat. I forced down a few bites of dinner, and then we did table visits.

Here's what the tables looked like:

Cake cutting was a little funny. I was staring at the cake wondering which layer to cut. I asked the photographer, and he said he'd seen it multiple ways. I decided the top was easier to photograph.

We then did our first dance that I choreographed. However, my dress was a little too long (though it seemed fine at the fitting) and I stepped on it a few times and slid. Otherwise the dance went great. Sorry for the blurry photo.

Then it was party time. Even my dad was eventually out on the dance floor. The only downside was again the DJ. He only played about half of my "must play" songs. Also, right near the end, he played some club music with (in my opinion) inappropriate lyrics. I did end up singing a song. It was iffy whether I would because I'd been coughing so long. It was a total surprise to H, and I made him cry. I sang Selena's "Dreaming of You." It was such a surprise that he didn't know I was singing at first, as I specifically asked for no announcement.

And here we are at the last song (the Glee version of "Don't Stop Believin'"). MOH is getting her boogie on next to me.

Okay, this has gotten really long, so I'll do honeymoon stuff separately.
