Wedding Party and Me walking down the aisle

I am thinking about having my whole wedding party and me walk down the aisle to the song 'Never Let You Go' by Evermore. I know traditionally classical music is used, but I really love this song and think the beggining of it is an absolutely great for an entrance. Is this a bad idea?

I havnt decided what the wedding party is going to walk down teh isle to, but I am walking down the isle to 1234 by plain white t's... so I personally think that it is completely up to you!

btw.. love that song!

I think its up to you and your FI. Personally, its not my style and I would never do it. But if if its what you want and you think you will regret it if you don't then you should do it. If you are getting married in a church make sure the church oks it.

If you're getting married in a church, you'll need to check with them about music restrictions that they might have.  The church in which I'm an organist doesn't allow secular music during the ceremony.

If you're not getting married in a church, then while it's nms, I have to say that most guests won't really pay any attention at all to the music that's being played.  Reality check:  can you name the processional/recessional for the last 6 weddings you attended?

The song is very important to you, but most people really don't pay that much attention to it~unless it's really tasteless or performed very poorly by a live musician.

The officiant at my cousin's wedding walked down the aisle to the Imperial March from Star Wars. I say go with what makes you happy!

Wow, what a fantastic entrance!  I love stuff like that - it makes it so much more interesting.  Also, I love that it shows your personality.  I have a big family, so I've been to dozens of weddings by now, and frankly, I think that some of the ultra-traditional stuff can be a little boring.
