Not Engaged Yet

The ring is back...

So, as we all know I didn't get engaged this past weekend when BF took the day off. But, he was acting all sketchy when he was driving home and I could tell he wasn't in the car and he wouldn't tell me where he was. Well, when I got home I noticed the ring box was gone. He must have picked up the ring yesterday!

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M GETTING ENGAGED SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I'm done. Back to not thinking about it. I just had to tell someone, and who better than you gals? :)

He sold the ring because he changed his mind.  And he needed the box for shipment.

Deep breaths, CCO!  I'm excited for you, too, though!

Bside, it was really fun and BF and I decided that we will for sure register there "for real" once we are engaged. (I did the shop by myself.)

SKP, I didn't check. He was dumb enough to leave the drawer cracked enough that it was obvious the box wasn't there. lol

He sold it so he could afford to buy you a sparkly pony and pink hay!

The box is gone because it can't fit the pony.

FFS, stop making up crazy stories about a ring.

Stop thinking about it, stop being suspicious of him!

I knew knew KNEW that FI was going to propose before we moved in together.  There were like two weekends left and he hadn't done it, I was SO frustrated about it and super stressed about the move.  I decided that it was going to happen after I moved out to LA, I was convinced it would happen after I moved.  We had sort of talked about just waiting so we could enjoy our last days or weeks of being BF/GF together.  I accepted it and was fine with waiting.

And then.....he proposed that weekend! It was SUCH a surprise and SO awesome! I thought I'd be able to know when he did it, but I didn't even know he was in town.  I was having a nice dinner with my sister, because it was our last girls weekend.  On the way to dinner he just popped up and was like "Hey! Surprise! Proposal!".

Enjoy every day and moment as if it were your last BF/GF moment!

This... I'm not stressing about it anymore and haven't for a while. So, I know it will happen when it is supposed to happen and I am going to enjoy every last minute as BF and GF!

Thanks everyone for your support through my crazy guessing about when it would happen. I am at peace with everything now and I'm excited to relish the last few days, weeks or months as BF and GF.
