Thursday Workout

What is everyone doing today?

I saw a kettlebell thing on Groupon if anyone is interested in buying, btw.

I'm going to go run, since I didn't last night. We went to the workout room and the old guy that also decides to wear womens jeans 2 sizes too small was in there. Yes he wears the jeans to work out...or he strips down to short shorts, way too short, lol.

He doesn't like an audience though so he left when we got there, lol. I just did the elliptical and a bit on the treadmill. Today I"m going to do a run and the elliptical and maybe some Wii.

Re: Thursday Workout

  • I wussed out last night - my arms were killing me. I did 3300M and walked about a half a mile - AAAAAAND I ran a lap!! :) I haven't run in....well...really ever. I don't like it. So that was exciting for me.

I'm skipping the gym tonight - I have furniture that's being delivered tomorrow and my house is a disaster area. Then I have pool league.
  • well, I'm on my second candy bar for the day so it's not looking so good.  ;)

good news is my first lessons cancelled, so I'm off at 3:30 and start teaching at 6:00.  I plan on taking a nice long FAST walk/jog, and still doing 30DS L2 tonight.
  • Irish: Good job with the run!! : ) I never really got into running either, until I realized that I was getting better, and then it became fun because it was kind of a challenge, lol.

Coco: Candy bar sounds awesome right now! Yay for cancellation! : )

  • I just got back from a 12-mile bike ride with FI.  It was harder than it should have been for that distance, but there was a headwind, so I'm blaming that.

I can't wait for it to warm up so we can get our bikes out again! I hate wind. I hate wind when I run and I hate wind when I bike. I don't care for the added challenge, lol. I also hate hills, lol.

  • 2 candy bars = not a good choice.  I have a tummyache!  hopefully I learned my lesson.  :)  I still have 227 calories, plus if I exercise.  I may go over a little today but hopefully not too bad.  and tomorrow is another day.  :)
  • The last two days I've been exhausted. This sinus thing means I can't smell anything, so my meals are like half sizes because I just don't have an appetite. I've lost three lbs in three days.

So for the last two days, right before I get in the shower, I've done 10 push ups, 8 tricep dips, 10 crunches, and a 45 second plank. It's not great, but better than nothing.

    Still here and still fabulous!

  • I was so busy at work I'm exhausted I may try the Mad Abs march in a bit.

    Anniversary

  • Coco: I'm sorry to hear you had a stomach ache! Today is a new day though, so hopefully you feel better! : )

Tiger: Definitely good job staying active. I need to start doing what you do and just be satisfied to do a little rather than nothing at all when I don't have the time or desire.

tdwpg: I am not awake yet so I was fully prepared to believe you really did go work out with him, lol. Sounds like fun!

Danser: Did you end up doing the March Abs?

  • I ended up walking 3 miles yesterday.  after I taught all my music lessons, I did 30DS L2...  and died.  I just couldn't do it.  so tonight I'm going back to L1 to give my body a little break.

I made sub sandwiches last night and they were SO GOOD.  the package says that they are only 89 cals for a hoagie...  that doesn't sound right, but I checked 15 times.  they are from Sunflower Market, and made with wheat flour...  they were like eating yeast rolls, YUM.  I have one for lunch today but I still can't believe it was only 90 cals for a hoagie??  can this be true??
