Happy Friday!

I'm in an awesome mood this morning. Lil B is napping peacefully and my man will be home in an hour!
A little background info, BF is a trucker and is on the road 4 days a week. It's always exciting to have him home again. B is starting to recognise when he's not around and you should see his smile when Daddy comes home!
Anyway, we decided to get my sister over to babysit and go out dancing tomorrow! I'm super stoked :D
Anyone else have fun plans this weekend?

Re: Happy Friday!

  • We have a party to go to at a friends house, thats about it.

    Yay for date nights!

  • BF and I are going to see a comedian tonight.

Other than that, no real plans!

  • I love when they start to "miss" you and get so excited when you're home! It's the best feeling in the world.

My plans this weekend include taking down the Christmas lights from the house (I don't do heights, but since FI didn't get around to it, and I refuse to leave them up another week, I guess I'll have to get over it!). I am also going to empty my entire kitchen pantry and throw out all of the crap that's probably expired in there. And maybe the fridge will be next. :-)

So in other words, nope, uneventful weekend planned.

  • Little Bean is going to be off with his best friend till tomorrow night so SO and I are gonna catch up with our best friend who is on short leave (special forces) in DC and do a little Adams Morgan pub crawl. And I'm sitting around wishing I had my new contacts cause I really really don't want to go out in glasses. I might just resurrect my old pair from the case for a few hours tonight. Doubt it will kill me. LOL

  • Riding bikes along the beach tomorrow, going shopping for wedding shoes and dinner with friends are the highlights of my weekend.  Dancing sounds like so much fun!  Have a great time!
  • I'm getting a hair cut tomorrow and then going to my first bridal show on Sunday. The only vendor I need is a florist. It should be an interesting experience!

    Still here and still fabulous!

  • Lil, dancing sounds like SO much fun!!

Tonight I have my friend's bachelorette party.  We're doing a "bar crawl" in the city.  It starts at 8:30 at her apartment.  I'm an old lady & can't figure out how I'm going to make it past 10.

Tomorrow I'll probably be nursing a hangover & I really don't think I plan on leaving the couch all day.  I need some snuggle time with FI since I was away all last week & have been out a couple nights this weeks.

Sunday I'll watch the Giants lose to the Falcons (hell yes I can predict the future).  I'm also going to make chili.  My best friend is coming over for dinner, drinks & a sleepover so we can watch the premier of Shameless together (she doesn't have Showtime so we might make this a weekly thing).  I freakin love this show & I'm so glad it's back!!

  • I'm going to try to get out of work early today so I can go home & take care of some things, since I'll be on Long Island all weekend for work & my brother is coming to visit next week!

I'm going to my first WW meeting Saturday morning, then leaving for LI with the basketball team. We play at Stony Brook on Sunday - and I'm hoping that I'll get to see my best friend and her tiny little baby bump while I'm there :-)

  • That sounds like a wonderful weekend Lil!

Tonight I am going to take my youngest sister out for dinner then to her basketball practice. Tomorrow I'm going to the BIG bridal show downtown with my bridesmaids and my mom. Sunday I am taking down all the x-mas decorations and relaxing since I have to actually work on Monday.  :(

  • That is too cute! I wanna see pictures of B :)

BF and I are having a date night tomorrow, so that will be fun :) Tonight I am running off with my mom and sister, and that will be fun too. So glad it's Friday!
  • Wow! Everyone has something going on it seems, even if it is just cleaning out the clutter! I've been clearing out the clutter myself, something about getting rid of stuff feels so...refreshing. I've never been to see a real comedian (although I remember seeing a lousy one in college), that sounds like so much fun! I can't wait to get out of the house and get a bit of a drink on, hope everyone enjoys their various weekend activities!
  • No real plans this weekend,  tonight just relaxing with the BF, tomorrow morning I've got the calls backs for the show I hope to do and then relaxing with the BF the rest of the weekend.

Why not leave them up but unplugged? Where I live it is too friggidy-ass cold most of the winter to take Christmas lights down until like April, or there's too much snow. So people just leave them up but don't have them on.<div>
</div><div>BF and I are hoping to go out for dinner tomorrow, but that will depend on how my puppy is doing. She got spayed today, so I kind of want to keep an eye on her, but if she seems to be doing well we'll leave her for a few hours. We haven't had a proper date for a long time, and really need one...</div>
