Color trouble

Okay so I have been set on coral, peach, and ivory...I for some reason think that I should add like a blue color simply b/c the venue for the reception is on the top floor of a hotel and on both sides are window walls with balcony on each side, one side overlooks the ocean and the other over looks the bay, and our fl beaches consists of pure white sand with super blue/green water, and I thought about adding in some of the lighter shades of a blue in...I just don't know if it's good to do since it's a November wedding? What do you ladies think?

Re: Color trouble

  • I like coral with deep, navy blue. It makes the corral pop, but is fairly subtle on its own.
  • From your description of the venue, the blues will naturally complement your color scheme as chosen.  You don't need to add any other colors; you'll risk over-complicating things.
  • I'd leave it alone.  It could be too much to add in the blue.
  • I agree, seafoam green would look lovely and not clash. It's nice to have some variety like that, since coral and peach are near each other on the color wheel
