    Good idea Oceana!

I had a St. Patrick's Day party on the weekend. What do I do with tons of extra boiled potatoes and cabbage?

Once I know that then I can make my grocery list!

Haha, yeah, sorry!  I sort of dropped that ball when I stopped being in charge of the menu & cooking.  Since my guy's gone on this crazy diet of his, I just sort of eat what he puts in front of me.

I wish I had the capability to make a weekly menu! I just can't fathom thinking past the next meal, much less 4 days from now. I just buy whatever, and go from there all crazy and unplanned like. Some nights after a long day at work I feel so lost about dinner because we have all this fresh food and I have no creativity left.

I'm the same way. Most days, by the time I get home from work, I'm too damn tired to come up with something to make off the top of my head. By planning out our meals (at least in a general sense), I've found that I'm saving on our grocery bills, and I'm more inclined to actually cook if I already know what I'm going to make.</div>

I completely agree Oceana! Plus, for those of us trying to watch our figures...it helps to keep you on track. If I already know I have something healthy and easy to make at home, i'm less likely to make a poor choice on the road.

I can't wait to have my own kitchen so that stuff like this actually works.  I love grocery shopping and cooking, yet am afraid to use the kitchen in our hall due to dirty hippies.  Seriously, they're gross.

Also, Oceana, YGPM. If you don't have time, let me know, it's not a big deal.  :-)
