Thanks for coming to my rescue last night and helping me decide which pair of boots to buy, lol. I'm horrible at making decisions like that especially when I don't have the outfit in front of me.

I got back home just in time to throw the casserole in the oven and get ready. Then FI got home, got ready and we left only to find out that he had the wrong week. The Christmas party isn't until next week, lol. Oh well, I still plan on wearing the boots to tonight's Christmas party.

I'm happy with the ones you picked too. They're so comfortable. I might have to go get some gray ones too, lol. I could easily have a shoe addiction if I had money for it, lol.

Another funny part of the story, in case anyone wants to know.

I need to learn how to be a better female, lol. I was dressed up with nowhere to go and all we had to eat was the sweet potato casserole that I made, so we stopped at Wal-Mart to grab a rotisserie chicken and the whole time I was in the store I was pulling my dress down. I had a girdle/slip on underneath and I could feel where it ended so it kept making me think my dress was up that high on my thighs too and I am not used to it, lol.

I'm glad you liked your outfit! Try wearing control top tights with the boots and dress so you feel less uncomfortable, that's what I do in winter.

Do you have a pic of said boots? I'm totally becoming addicted to boots thanks to CCO. She had a thread about burgundy boots and I just had to go and get a pair for myself! They are now my favorite shoes ever!!!

I'll take a picture tonight when we get ready for the party. I didn't think to take one yesterday and the only picture I have of them is the one I sent to her from the store with two different boots on, lol. And even that one is kinda fuzzy and hard to see, so I'll wait.

Do you have a link with your burgundy boots? lol I wanna see yours too! Even if I can't buy them, I still like to look! : )

I found a picture online of them. I can't have anything with too much of a heel or I'm taller than FI and I'm horrible at walking in heels anyhow. I like these because they're comfortable, but not the wintery looking boots so I can wear them other times of the year. I needed something to go with a sweater dress and I think these work pretty well! I'll still take a picture later of the full outfit!

These are FI's favorite and I feel very kick ass when I wear them


These are my every day boots because they were made to walk or do light hikes in.  They are the same brand as my actual hiking boots.


I usually wear leggings or tights and tunics or sweater dresses with my boots.

Ooh! That first set of boots look dangerous, but super sexy! I think next year for Christmas I'm going to make a registry and just put shoes on it, lol.
