decisions re: engagement ring

hi guys!  my s/o and i traveled from new jersey to the brilliant earth showroom in san francisco just to check out their amazing rings!  we settled on a custom sapphire ring, but tell me...with accent diamonds or sapphires?

Normally I would think vendor, but I would be really suprised for Brilliant Earth to do such a thing. But it seems weird to go all the way to SF from NJ unless you were already going for another reason.

For the record, I am definitely NOT a vendor, but that goes to show how impressed I was with BE! My bf and I went to SF for vacation and were scouting out engagement rings as well.

I think the ring is ugly but it's your ring so it doesn't really matter what I think.

I side eyed this post for that reason.  Seriously fly across the country JUST to go to a show room.  I even side eye those ladies on say yes to the dress when flying from the west coast to NYC.

I think it's quite absurd that I have to justify that I'm a real person and not a vendor...we're just a couple from nj who fell in love with San Francisco and thought it would be a great idea to get engaged and possibly relocate to the area..plus BE upholds principles that are important to us. And youre right, BE would never post on this board. We also checked out Lang antiques. Yeesh!
