More NEY HR questions

So I finally got everything turned in for my dream job on Tuesday. I personally delivered it to the woman in HR who processes all the applications. The hiring contact is Law Director, and I will be following up with him. So my question is, how long do you think I should wait to follow up? I've heard that 7-10 days is standard, but I really want to play this right. As you all know, this is my dream job...

So, any ideas?

Oh goodness, I really don't know. If you've heard that it's standard for 7-10 days, I'd do that.

I think about a week sounds reasonable.  Did she say if he would be contacting you?  If she didn't specify and it's your dream job, I would definitely call in a week.
    I hope you get it!!

7-10 days is pretty standard. That's when I usually send a follow up, if I haven't heard anything from them prior.

Hooray for dream job applications!! Sending lots of positive vibes your way!! :-)
