I posted a bit back about helping me find a dress for my engagement party this weekend. Well the dress we all loved, came & really just didn't work. I could zipper it over my chest & it was baggy around my waist so going up a size wouldn't work.
So I went out on Thursday determined to find something perfect. I've decided to go a little less dressy/fancy/formal as the party's at my aunt's house. Well Thursday didn't exactly work out either.

I bought this dress which I though I really liked but then I got home, took this picture, & now I think I look a bit bigger than I am because of the style/cut of the dress... (ignore my stupid face lol)
After I got home & realized neither look I bought (I bought a cute turquoise strapless dress also, with a cropped blazer to go over it. I tried on the medium in Macy's & it was too tight in the chest so I grabbed a large & when I tried it on at home it was so loose it woudln't stay up.) So then in a fit of anger I ordered these from Old Navy & paid for 2-day shipping so they'll be here tomorrow.

I also was thinking I could go a little more laid back/casual & wear a red sweater dress I already own with my over-the-knee boots:
What do you guys think? I want to look nice obviously. I don't want to be too dressy but I also don't want to just wear jeans. And I want to be comfortable.
