So here is a little pick me up-
Answer me this-

"I couldn't find a bedazzling kit for your engagement turtle, but I hope this can make up for it"
(said before he got down on one knee and proposed while I was holding the stuffed turtle he had just given me. the this was my engagement ring. . . it made up for it.)

"Nothing is beautiful without you here."
He said that a few nights ago. We were in an argument when he said that to me (we're LD). I thought it was sweet.

If we're hanging out with another couple who is arguing, BF will quietly wink and say "love ya". We typically don't argue and neither of us really get on each other's case about little stuff.  When we're around people that do, it's a nice reminder.

"I thought I said it originally, I love you forever more than anything or anyone that came before and more than anything or anyone that will ever come after...and more."  I keep this text saved in my phone.  He is so cute :)

Last Christmas, I noticed some extra stockings that Andrew had. I asked him about them and he told me he bought them a couple years ago for his parents, but they ended up bringing their own.

So he said, "Maybe someday we can use them for our children."

It was so simple, yet I fought back tears of joy while sitting in front of our first Christmas tree together.

Laying in bed one night, spooning with his arms around me and one hand on my tummy. He whispered in my ear, "Someday our baby will be in here."

    I nearly died.

The first time he ever professed his love for me "B!tch I love you."  That is 100% true and 100% us!

Oh man.  It's probably a tie between his proposal speech and what he said to me last week when I got diagnosed with PCOS.

His proposal speech:  "Shoes, I want you to know that I really love you.  And you make me happy.  And you've made me happy every day since the day I met you.  And I know the next few years are going to be tough because of law school, but we can make it through it together.  We can get through anything together.  And it will all be worth it in the end.  So I was wondering (gets down on one knee) if you would marry me?"

Last Week:  Me:  "You don't have to marry me now, you know, that I might not be able to have children.  I love you and you deserve children."

    (cries)

Him:  (picking up my chin) "Of course I'll still marry you.  I love you.  You are my very best friend and the love of my life and even if we knew for 100% certain that you couldn't have children, I'd still want to marry you.  We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.  And I'm sure we'll have children.  But if we can't we can adopt, or we can be crazy dog people."

It was early on in the relationship he said we were talking about houses and he said when I think about buying a house I think of us doing it together, it was the first time I had any indication he thought long term. BF isn't much of a planner. When he wrote in my birthday card last year "I love you so much I can't imagine my life without you,  It was also on this year's Vday card.

Aw...I just got a little teary.

FI sent me a bunch of insanely sweet texts the first summer we were dating - he was doing Gear Up Florida (a 3 week cycling event for kids with disabilities) and Build America (a 6 week building trip through the US renovating camps for kids with disabilities), and would text me every night.  Unfortunately, since then, my phone crapped out and died and I lost those texts :(

Our thing though is "Forever and Always, No Matter What."  It gets abbreviated all the time, and we say it to each other when things start to get crazy.  It helps us get our perspective back.
