I'm getting married this weekend!
I was on the phone with my mom on Friday about the final payment to our venue (I'm so lucky that my parents are paying that part) and she was like "Wow, so, uh, this is actually going to happen isn't it?" and I said "apparently -- I have no idea how that happened."
I keep going back and forth between crazy excitement and crazy panic... with a few moments of utter disbelief sprinkled in.
So I really wanted to make a WR AW today but I don't really have anything new to share... so I thought I would just share our menu. Everybody likes talking about food, right?
So for our appetizers we're having a fruit and cheese display plus three passed hors d'oeuvres: chicken salad sliders, beef sliders with grilled onion and bleu cheese, and mini-crabcakes with cajun aioli. Yummmy. Then we're having two salads (caesar and an italian salad with artichokes and feta), three sides (horseradish and gouda whipped potatoes, baked mac and cheese, and grilled veggies) and two entrees (filet mignon and chicken breast stuffed with spinach and gouda).
I have exactly one vegetarian guest. She's one of my BMs. I was really worried about the lack of vegetarian options on the menu, but she's fully aware of the issue and is just happy I was thinking about her.
I feel like like the non-vegetarians will love it. Right?
