Successful proposal! He simply asked me at home after one of our awesome dinners we made together last week. Then we took off to Merkel, TX to see the "Merkel lights". These mysterious lights that have never been explained. I've always wanted to check it out and we had a great time. Well, here is some ring porn. We are thinking about a very small wedding at my hometown in Wisconsin in August 2012! I have always wanted to be engaged and it is way more exciting than I ever imagined.

    Congratulations!!!  Your ring is super pretty.  Glad your proposal was successful and it was just you two. My fear is him doing it in front of family and friends I am shy about being the center of attention like that and im sure im gonna cry lol because he is so great and I will be lucky to have him forever, everyday I think how did I get him . But i guess If I wanna be a bride someday Ill have to get over that not wanting to be center of attention thing huh? I wish you the best in your planning.
