I am new to this is board so I just wanted to intoduce myself.  My name is Samantha I have been in a LTR with my BF for 4 years.  He says we will be getting married this year, so my fingers are crossed!

    Welcome. We (coming from a still-noob) enjoy the non-BF related goods on here too. What do you do? What are your hopes, dreams, and ambitions? What is your opinion on garden gnomes?

    Um my opinion on lawn gnomes is that I can't believe they are going to make money off of a movie about them.  FREAKING LAME.  OK OK it's like watching my biggest fear on the big screen. 

    Side note, I know you didn't ask me but I thought you should know...

    I'm seriously freaked.  Thanks for making my biggest childhood fear(besides clowns) come to life.  OMG what if a giant Gnome was outside my door dressed as a clown.  I'm going to have to take a sleeping pill to make it through my night.    :)

    PS I'm watching the Twilight series on cable right now on a sat night, does that make me such a loser?  Be honest I can take it.  baha

    Only because the writing in that series is so bad. However, BF and I stayed up playing our new Mario game on the Wii sooo pretty sure my judging rights are officially revoked.

    Hi Samantha... I'm in pretty much the same boat (been with BF for 2.5 years, we've talked about getting married this year).

    How do you feel about french fries and cheese? Could you live without either?

    Okay yes I do plan to get emgaged and married this year.  He told me that we will, I am kinda of hoping for V-day to be the bigs day.  I am an optican at an optical shop.  And I think garden nomes are cute, I actually want to see that movie. haha I am a dork.

    Okay sorry for some reason I can't get it to show who I replying back to. I must admit it I think it is the operator. Oh well so i am just going to have a long comment with all the answers haha.  Okay I am getting a little tired of waiting, but we have been through  so much in the last year and a half.  So I can't complain to much,  but after waiting for like a year of wanting him to propose I get a little hopless.

    I do like Harry Potter just the movies.

    It will be a short engagement and a small wedding of about 70 people.

    Not picky on mac n cheese, I love it though.

    I don't know what fauxtatoes is.

    It is nice to have someone in the same boat, all my friends are married or single!  I love french fries and cheese, I could live without cheese!

    I know how you feel. We are in serious planning stages of our 'post-wedding' finances, and have agreed on a 2011 wedding, so now I'm just waiting for the proposal! Valentine's Day is coming up, and both our parents will be in town the first weekend in March, so that would be a good time, too. Of course, if he felt like asking me tonight, I'd still be thrilled :)

    ETA: I could live without french fries and cheese, but I wouldn't want to.
