    90% :)

But VA drivers are significantly worse, in general...so are Jersey ones (where I'm originally from)

I too got an 85%. This reminds me- I should probably look into whether or not I will actually have to retest in Colorado. Andrew is packing up some shelves around me. ::sigh:: I can no longer be in denial now.

I'm pretty emotional today. It's our last weekend day in California. We're going to go to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants tonight: http://www.cafegibraltar.com/

So back to the topic at hand- I used to speed. I hate driving, so I just liked getting to my destinations faster. However, after a few tickets the California DMV sent me a letter letting me know that "I had two options- I could either become a better driver, or kill someone." Whew...true story.

    It was pretty, harsh, right?

Uh oh...looks like Colorado is the most knowledgeable. I'll have to get on that. :)

Colorado drivers are horrible. They may know what they should be doing but they sure as hell aren't most of the time.

I got 90%.  Now, I answered based on my knowledge, not what I do.

I got the bad weather question wrong (seriously?!  it didn't say HOW bad of weather...ugh) and the school bus question wrong (because I didn't actually read the answer that I selected completely, I thought i picked the right one...)

And DC - least knowledgable?  Explains SOOOO much.

I got 85%. I was totally confused on the "how many seconds is a safe following distance" question. I have no idea. I think in terms of distance, not time.

Not surprisingly, California scores kind of low.

Wah..I got an 80%. I figured I'd score pretty high since I just took drivers ed three years ago. Maybe it's because I'm a "masshole" driver though... :(

I got an 80%  Which is sad because I only took that test like 5 years ago.  I got the speed one wrong, and what a penta sign means?, and the yellow light one.  Hello if it is yellow you boom through it! LOL.  I guess I am making the stereo type of bad drivers are young come true. :(

Hahaha that's exactly how I think. If it turns yellow it means speed up and try to make it through before it turns red, not slow down! My poor mother when she was teaching me how to drive...I give her a lot of credit.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: How safe of a driver are you? : ....I hope you do know you have to stop when a school bus has it's red lights and stop sign out. If you pass it, and the driver catches your plate number, you're getting a $300 ticket in the mail. And it up to you to dispute it in court if it wasn't you driving your car. Just FYI :)

I got an 80% and Michigan's average was 77-79%. I wish they had the results for JUST Detroit because I'm pretty sure the majority of the drivers I see downtown don't even have a license. That, or your really supposed to turn right from the left lane (and vice versa) as well as red means to go and green means stop where you are, look around, and turn from the completely wrong lane. Maybe that's why I didn't get 100%.

Not sure about the pedestrian one I say stop but this guy made me think otherwise. I was driving once and this guy was (totally jay walking) walking across the street so I slowed down to stop. This crazy mother f'er stops in the middle of the road, squats down, and hurries to point his "finger gun" directly at my car. uhhh, wtf guy?

    I got a 90%.

I thought you were only allowed to pass to the left when on a 2 lane (in the same direction) highway? I get that you can pass to the right on a 3+ highway.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: How safe of a driver are you? : I hope you're kidding. You would be surprised how many people blow through them because they think nothing will happen, and then whine in court when they're stuck with a $300 ticket. What's wrong with a heads up that's it's not an itty bitty fine?

I already said I misread the answer I selected.  You didn't need to sit here and treat me like a brand new 16 year old.  I don't appreciate it.  At all.
