I just texted DH and asked him how many vacation days he has left this year so I can plot out our various trips. He says: I have 15, I think I've used 6.
Wait... so you have 15 left, or you have 9 left? That was not as clear as it could have been. I asked him if he has 15 days left, and he finally responded "I have about 10 days left." Why did you expect me to do the math? Just give it to me straight, bro.
Mostly unrelated, I was listening to the radio this morning and Kidd Kraddick asked a caller how many text messages she sends per day at work. She said "Awesome." (Apparently she didn't hear the question correctly)
It turned into a big joke "Kelly, how many copies of your resume did you make?" "Awesome." and so on. From now on, when someone asks me a question that requires a numerical answer, I want to reply "awesome."
Married to my best friend, making our way together through this crazy, mixed-up thing we call life.
