What's up tonight?  I'm sitting around, petting the cat and throwing the ball for the dog, watching the CMA awards and getting ready for my trip.  I'm going to the Harry Potter Celebration at the WWoHP in Orlando this weekend.  Leaving tomorrow morning!  Aaaaaahhhh!

    I am just 'trying' to write a 25 page paper. Who the heck assigns THAT big of a paper, I am not sure. I don't get why she wants to read 25 page papers for her FOURTY student class... but whatever.

    Tomorrow I get to go home and see Jeff. I'm excited to see him! :)

    It's on a policy. So I'm writing mine about a policy a few years ago that changed free and reduced lunches. Fun fun fun...

    25 pages sounds fun.  Almost as much fun as figuring out a way to get from the Orlando airport to my hotel without spending $50.

    Polkadot, I don't think they even read them. It's a conspiracy. I am poli sci major so I know all about looonngg papers =( .. good luck!

    Elle, I am super jealous of your future harry potter fun this weekend. Just wanted you to know =)

    Mostly, I'm just excited to surround myself with all things Potter and fully geek out without feeling like I'm being judged by those around me.  I'm also really, really excited that I get to go do this with my cousin, who may be the coolest kid ever.

    There are a whole lot of special events going on this weekend to coincide with the DVD release of the final movie, like Q&As with people involved in making the movies, special IMAX screenings, etc., but that stuff is kind of secondary to me.

    I just finished a 10 page paper..I can't imagine having to tack 15 more on top of that!

    I'm failing miserably in NaNo.  I knew it would be a stretch for me to be able to do it this month, since I've got so much going on already, but I thought I would be doing better than I am.  Grrrrrrrr.

    Ha, I do the same thing with famous people I like.  I do think Brad seems like a nice guy, though.  And his music has a lot of humor, which I love.

    It's good to see another country fan around here.  I'm a fan, too.  That's, like, my only southern quality even though I've only ever lived in Louisiana, Texas, and now Mississippi.

    I'm glad The Band Perry is having a good night.  I love everything they do.

    I've heard Penn State mentioned several times but I don't know anything about what's going on; I haven't even opened any of the threads about it.  It's completely off my radar.  Sorry I can't commiserate with you.

    Yeah, that's pretty sick.  I just looked it up after I made that last post.

    It makes me feel bad for Penn State students and other people associated with the school.

    That article was really well written.  That might be a strange comment to make, but it was.
