Kindle?

I remember someone on here said they used their kindle to read their text books.

How does that work out? My mom told me you can't select the corresponding page number from the book you are reading and that you can only see the percentage you have finished. Is that true?

My concern is if a professor says "read pages 35-50" I wouldn't be able to figure out which pages that was.

I don't know about the newer versions but with my Kindle you can't see the page numbers so it would be difficult to read a specific set of pages assigned by a professor unless they were specific chapters.

Kindles do not have page numbers, unless they have updated it on the newest version.  It's quite annoying actually.
