Mine is work related - I had my first event of the year yesterday and by all accounts it was a raging success!  Some factors you can't control but even those went really smoothly.  So I'm thrilled!

Also, I managed to score a huge meeting today with a very senior Mexican government official while I'm in town, so I'm super excited/nervous about that!  With any luck, he'll agree to participate as a speaker at some of our global events, and then I'll be on Cloud 9!

What do you have to be excited about today?

We meet with our project manager Monday for the house.  They should break ground 2 March... then done in MAY!

I hate moving, so glad I don't have to worry about it when the house is done!

<div>We're about 2/3 packed.  I've been working on it for 2 week.  We took over some boxes the last few evenings.  Tonight we're bringing over at least 2 or 3 loads (I have a Yaris so it's not huge but we can get a lot in a few loads) and tomorrow we're moving the big stuff.  Last time we ended up packing most of it the day of - NEVER again! lol</div>

Life around here is pretty much the same for me. A few more hours at work, though, which is good.

BF is about to make a real go of making his drum business full-time. He's freaking out a little, but it's exciting!

Tomorrow is my 26th birthday! FI and I are going out to a fancy dinner alone tonight and doing a bar crawl with our friends tomorrow to celebrate.

Cate - GL with your meeting. Also, if you are going to be a military wife you'll need to get way better at packing.

I'm excited that it is Friday, aside from that not much. I decided to stop wedding planning by post it note and now have a binder. Which I can put away and not look at, the post it notes were being kept out so I wouldn't misplace them. So, I'm excited for that.

Someone yelled at me on the train today because of all my bags when I was bringing clothes and homebaked meals to BF and family. Then he overslept because he’s been running himself into the ground lately and thus missed the start of the Job Fair he was supposed to attend today. Yesterday, day 11 of my cold that I just hadn’t quite kicked yet became Day 1 of a new cold. I am grumpy.

 

If this were a FB status, it would totally be AW.

 

Oh and *snaps* for Cate and good job Paige and Happy Birthday Chiano!!

I'm loving all the good things happening to everyone!

My AW... I'm finally starting to feel better. One problem, my energy level is no where near what it typically is. I think this is worse than being sick. At least at my sickest I didn't care about what I wasn't accomplishing. Now, I'm well enough to realize it, but don't have the energy to complete anything.

Congrats and good luck on the meeting, Cate! Have you been able to keep up your running in Mexico?

The only news I have is that BF found out yesterday we can't get another home loan. It's a bummer but it's what I expected. Now we can move to plan B - finding a renter or buyer for our house and moving into a rental. Could take 6-9 months so I won't be packing any time soon.

Cupcake - hope you kick that cold this weekend! BF has been fighing a nasty allergy attack/cold/sinus infection all week

I'm excited because BF & I are moving in 10ish days! and we ordered all our new furniture!! I'm even more excited that we'll be getting a kitty after we move in. Is it wrong that I'm more excited to be living with a kitty than BF?? lol jk

Tomorrow is my second big event for our non-profit. (That I've chaired and been a big part of the planning process)

It's a Casino Night, and we've put a lot of planning in to it.  We're doing it as a membership drive, so I'm hoping it turns out well!

No, not at all. My AW is that I'm going on a staycation tomorrow. BFand I are celebrating a belated V day and his birthday early. They're a week apart so we just combined them. We're going to see a Cirque show, get AYCE sushi, and stay at a fancy hotel. I'm excited!
