We're getting a new puppy!  She was just born last Saturday and her name will be Akira.  She's a siberian husky... BF has wanted one for awhile now.  We can't pick her up until December when we get back from PA (where we're from), but we seriously cannot stop talking about her, watching videos on YouTube and talking to my dog about how she's going to have a sister.

Super excited!!




PS- I finally figured out the avatar thing, so I no longer have a random TK pic as my avatar, yay!

    Blue eyes or bi-eyed... both of her parents are bi-eyed, so there's a good chance of that.  We'll love her regardless.

    I can't wait to see pics once she's a couple months old.  That's the cutest puppy stage IMO.

    Thanks all!!  She IS super cute, isn't she!?  Haha

    I will definitely post more pictures as she gets older.  We don't get to bring her home until December, but we're going to go visit her around our anniversary in the beginning of the month when she's old enough for us to play with her.  Till then we're both going crazy!  Chris is super cute about it- he updates me when the breeder posts new pictures and comments about how beautiful she is.  Love him.

    I wish we could have her now, but she needs her mommy and siblings for a little while... I'll just have to be patient I suppose (something I'm not very good at... where's my engagement damnit!? hahaha)

    I am so insane jealous..my dream is to have two siberian huskies someday when we have a house and yeard that can accomodate them..*dreamy sigh*

    My boyfriend really wants a siberian husky but I want a cockerspaniel so we've been holding off on getting another dog. But husky's are super cute. I love that video of that one that says I love you on youtube! They seem so snuggly. You should teach yours how to say something too lol.

    We watched that video and I thought it was so mean!  Haha, I'm a little sensitve I guess, expecting "mommy," you know?  Hahaha.  No really though, he's already trying to teach my dog new tricks so he's ready.  I have no doubt that he'll be trying to have her "say" things in no time.

    That's so exciting, Jacqui!!  I wouldn't be able to keep myself from buying out a pet store, in anticipation! LOL

    I was actually looking for kittens on PetFinder this morning and I've decided that I want 2! LOL Can't wait until I have my own place and can get them!

    AWWWWWW --- that makes me want another puppy SO freaking bad. I'm dying to have another dog but Rufus is such a spoiled brat I just don't think it would go well.

    You have to post tons of pictures!
