Registering overload

FI and I registered last night for wedding/shower gifts. Holy hell were we overwhelmed. I love shopping, but this was chaos to me. There were so many decisions and things to consider. I think I'm going to have to go back through online and add/delete a bunch of things.

Any tips for our next place we register?

    We really enjoyed registering!

We went "shopping" at Macys, Kohls, Target, and William Sonoma, to decide which places we liked the best, and to compare prices. I had a list of all our wants and needs. Then we picked the 2 best places for us (Macys and William Sonoma) and then we went back and registered. We should have spent 2 days at Macys, instead we spent 4 hours registering.

My suggestion is make a list of everything you want to register for. Go through your already completed registery and cross of the stuff you already registered for. Then, you'll have a precise list of what you need at the next store.

Yeah I thinking having a more comprehensive list is where we failed. We had fun being completely overwhelmed..not very productive though!

I would imagine having access to edit your registry online would be the easiest thing. Also, on the R&G they have a list of items you might need in a sticky.

We registered at Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and BB&B.  We went to each store and just added everything we wanted, and then came home and deleted/added things on the registries online.
