HI!  I am bored, again, like every Saturday.  So let's talk about life.  Does anyone start school next week? 
What is your favorite day of the week and why?
Favorite easy recipe?
Sweetest thing someone said to you? 

Anyone want to talk me down about telling on my boss this week?  I am slightly freaked out!

    What is your favorite day of the week and why? Right now, Fridays. I don't work on Fridays anymore, yay. :)
    Favorite easy recipe? Baked salmon. I just toss 'er in the pan with some olive oil and whatever spices I feel like, then bake until done.
    Sweetest thing someone said to you? BF has said lots of sweet things...one of my favorites was that I was "super mega breathtakingly beautiful." Awww.

    Ray, I think my memory is failing me...you're telling on your boss?! What's the story there?

    Hello raven!

    What is your favorite day of the week and why? Saturdays. Or Sundays. Both are wonderful. :)

    Favorite easy recipe?
    Other than chicken parm (which you've already made), here's another awesome one.
    Feta Sun-dried tomato turkey burgers
    Mix a lb of ground turkey, 1/2 cup of feta cheese, 1/2 cup of chopped up baby spinach, and 1/4 c of sun-dried tomatoes (I always get the ones just in a glass can- they're in olive oil), and a bit of s&p in a big bowl.  Make them into burger shapes. If you're gonna grill these babies, you need to stick them in the fridge for a bit so they stay together on the grill, but I usually just make them in a pan in a couple T of olive oil.  Put them on a bun with some spinach leaves and also some sundried tomato and mayo mixture (just mix a little sundried tomatoes in some mayo).  These are mini burgers once they're cooked and they have some super cute little hamburger buns at Trader Joes that work perfectly for these. Here's a picture.  I found the recipe from pickypalate. So good!!!

    I can't think of anything. FI says lots of sweet things. Yesterday my campers told me I was the best person ever and one said that they wish I could be their camp counselor for every single day EVER!  That was sweet.

    What is your favorite day of the week and why?    I would say Sunday but now I am not sure.  I think I might just hate the whole week for a while.

    My old supervisor told me I was awesome and she really likes me and that I work hard.  It was really sweet :)

     Does anyone start school next week?  I'm taking correspondence classes, and actually have 2 on the go right now, then on Sept 7 I'm starting another class for work. I'm hoping to get the one class finished before then, just have one paper left to do but I'm kind of stuck on it right now Frown
    What is your favorite day of the week and why? Sunday because it's the only day of the week I never have to work. I have to work some Saturdays, which kinda sucks, but is also good because when I work on Saturday I get the next Friday off!
    Favorite easy recipe? Broccoli chicken pasta: boil pasta in a pot, steam broccoli, cube chicken and fry with 1/2 tsp olive oil, some minced/crushed garlic and salt and pepper. In a separate pot cook 1/4 c olive oil or so with about 1/2 tsp chili flakes, 2-3 cloves minced/crushed garlic, salt and pepper. Dran pasta reserving about 1/4 c water. Put the pasta back in the pot with the reserved water and all the other stuff, toss and serve. It's super yummy!
    Sweetest thing someone said to you?  BF never buys me flowers because he thinks they're a waste of money. When we were at the greenhouse buying plants for our garden, he told me to pick out some perennials that will grow forever just like his love for me. Yeah I know, super corny, but I almost cried.

    I'll start Wednesday if I got in -- all of my application stuff for my BSN got there last week but I don't have word yet as to whether or not I got into the program.

    What is your favorite day of the week and why?

    Saturday. No work that day and no work the next!

    Favorite easy recipe?

    Homemade tamales. They're time intensive but easy, and they taste great!

    Sweetest thing someone said to you?

    I get a lot of compliments from my coworkers regarding how I treat my patients -- most of them revolve around the fact that I'm really down to earth and therefore make things easier to understand without talking down to them.
