Woooo!

My mom is driving to visit me this 3-day weekend and we've scheduled a whopping SEVEN dress appointments. Here's hoping I find it this weekend!


However, I have developed this irrational fear today that I'm going to get a nosebleed while trying on dresses, as my nose has been very dry this week... maybe I should go buy a humidifier tonight....

Tell me about it, I'm trying to fit as much as I can while my mom is up here. I want my dress to be a surprise for my friends, and going alone isn't super appealing.

PS. I hope I can take pics. So many places don't let you. What am I going to do? Take a picture so I can sew it myself???!!!

YAY! Have fun! And make sure you tell them up-front what your budget is! That'll help a lot! And print out pictures of styles that appeal to you... and try on ANYTHING. I never would have guessed my dress would have been so perfect for me when I saw in hanging in the dressing room.

Speaking of, I am going to pick it up tomorrow!!!! WOOHOO!

PPS. I am having the most hilarious visions of myself.... hovering away from my big tulle skirts shoving the extra tampons in my purse up my nose, a la "She's the Man"

I think I have convinced my MOH to get the same one.  It took a lot of convincing for her to look at dresses again, but with some alcohol last week I succeeded.  She is trying it on tomorrow and I think it will be perfect for her figure.

yay good luck! i just realized its almost february and i wanted to start looking next month just to give myself plenty of time and i am freaking out worried and scared to even walk into or plan any appointments , stupid anxiety lol. Maybe good stories/news will inspire me i hope to see pics too !

I know I'm late to that party, get some vaseline spread a thin layer on the inside of your nose. Even if it does start to bleed, the vaseline will keep it from coming out. We used to do this for swim practice when the humidity was 10. Worked like a charm.
