I'm home, drinking wine & applying to jobs in Maine. Playing fetch with my cat & waiting for BF to land in Vegas so I can talk to him.

Rest of the weekend - working tomorrow & Sunday, hoping to get the apartment clean and laundry done around work.

I'm trying to find the gin currently.  And doing laundry.

Tomorrow:  Work 845-5.  Run 4.5 miles. Meet up with JenJennifer and TigerLilySabre at a wine bar (OMFG YES!). Meet up with an ex from HS whose letters I still read frequently.

Sunday: Who the helll knows?  I'm off for the second Sunday since I started this job back in June.

ETA: I lied.  Sunday, I'm applying for jobs and grad school. Covering all my bases.

I'm sitting here browsing flats online and half watching/listening to a show about Pearl Jam (Long hair on men--grungy men--is grody, just sayin').

Tomorrow I'm hoping to try on dresses in the AM, then Brewfest in the afternoon, then wine bar with Peek and TigerLilySabre , then probably sleeping off all that alcohol o.O

I'm watching CSI and drinking wine. BF is taking the dog to his parents house, because we leave for Florida TOMORROW!!

Well, I guess I should say, we hopefully leave for Florida tomorrow. We're staying in a timeshare that his parents own, and we pay them for the week. They still have to set everything up though since the place is in their name (at least that's what she said when I offered to take care of it so she wouldn't have to worry about it).
 
So, his Mom has been saying everything is all set, etc. Told us she has the confirmation number and will give it to BF tonight. Also told us the week is Sunday-Sunday. Well, When he calls her tonight, she says "Oh, you guys know that the place is Saturday-Saturday, right? I was wondering why you weren't dropping the dog off earlier. Also, when I called today, they told me they had you down for next week, so I tried to call them back and no one picked up. I'll call them back tomorrow and see what the deal is." 

Ummm WTF. I did a little online research, and the place has plenty of units open for next week, so I'm really hoping it won't be a problem to switch. I think we're also just going to pay for an extra night and stay through Saturday anyway, because we're driving down, and we would have left tonight if we knew we had the place tomorrow. It just sucks to be stressing out about this shiit right before a vacation.

Tomorrow is the Middle Tennessee Chapter Oncology Nursing Society Fall Oncology Nursing Symposium (*breath*). I'll be there from 8 to 5. When I get home, I'll probably do the same thing I've been doing every other time that I've been home: watching Mad Men. When I finish that, I've been told I need to watch Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead.

Sunday will be spent with Netflix as well as Tyler works from 7:30 until 6 .

It's only ten days until Halloween though!!!

I do media/public relations for a college athletic department - which means that I'm at every home game we have, doing stats & that stuff, then writing the stories for the website after the games, setting up interviews, etc. I love it to a certain extent, but there are times where I just hate it - like last Sunday, when BF was 2.5 hours away and had the whole day off, and we couldn't see each other because I was working all day :-( Hence, why I've been applying for new jobs all night.

Can't wait for GTG pics, and can't wait till I'm involved in one! :-)

Liv - Sorry for the migraine issues. I have them too, and they are some of the worst things ever. I hope you feel better!!

Jen - hope we get pictures :-)

Yaga - have fun with the venue search! Can't wait to hear how it goes!

Jorja - I hope everything works out for your vacation... They're supposed to be about relaxation, so hopefully everything works out so you can have a good time!! :-)

Yay!! I LOVE Halloween. That is the one bad part of this week for vacation (we've been going the same week for three years). We miss the Halloween "weekend" when everyone dresses up and goes out, and we're usually exhausted from driving back right before actual Halloween. I haven't dressed up since college.

I am going to make pumpkin cupcakes and hand out candy while watching scary movies.

Tonight, I'm making an effort to recover from today because today SUCKED. :P Said effort involves being curled up on the couch in my pajamas and mindlessly surfing the internet.

Tomorrow involves venue-hunting and FI's family meeting my mom and sister for the first time, eek! Followed by game night.

And Sunday, if I'm feeling sufficiently motivated and not entirely burned out on planny things for the weekend, I might go to a bridal show.

I was just hanging out with the BF last night.  I visited tech going on at the theater for a bit and soon heading off w/ the BF for dinner and bowling w/ friends.  Tomorrow begins the tech week until the show I'm producing opens Friday.  It will be a stressful week and tomorrow will be a long day for sure.
