A girl on facebook wrote as her status "Joe just proposed to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" not once but 3 times in one hour. A couple of my friends and I thought it was a joke, as did a few people who commented on her status.

All joking aside, it was a bizarre way to tell people you are engaged, I thought

Well, the overuse of exclamation points is a bit on the annoying side, but I know how exciting it is to get engaged, and depending on whether she's on a remote Caribbean Island or not, maybe she doesn't get great cell phone reception and wanted to make sure the whole world knew?

I did find the exclaimaton points a bit much! And she's actually in the states. I wish I was in the carribbean right now

Maybe she didn't know the status went through...uh...twice before that...? lol

Otherwise, yeah, she's a little cray, but FB brings that out in people sometimes. Alot of people like to overly broadcast the good stuff (in less than classy ways) and hide the bad stuff.

 I have an annoying FB girl who posts the exact same tidbit of Lady Gaga information 3 times in an hour as if anyone cares. Maybe not enough people commented the first time she posted, so she made sure to cram the newsfeed with her good news.

Is this her by any chance? Lol

Truthfully, I'm sure there will be many people who will find out about my engagement over facebook. It was the same with my pregnancy. I wasn't all "ZOMGGGGG!" about it though.

I don't think announcing it on FB is weird but I DO think that saying it three times is a cry for attention. 

Full disclosure, after FI and I made our initial phone calls and texts Sunday morning, we put it on FB.  We did it that way so our really important people knew first off and then so that nobody else felt left out by us not telling them.  Um, be we only posted once, and with a pic of the two of us.  And there were most definitely not excess punctuation marks.

HAHA unfortunatly, that isn't her. I'd literally ROFL if it was.

And I love seeing who's engaged on Facebook. It's that "AHHHHH OMG!!!" stuff that makes me think .....wow
