Procedure to change Eye Colour?

If you could change your brown eye colour to blue, would you? (Article)

And, some general questions:

What colour eyes do you have?

Are you happy with your eye colour?

If you could change them (not limited to the procedure in the article), what colour would you want?

I already have blue eyes, so I'm good =)

But really, my eyes are kind of a silvery blue, but they can seem different hues based on what I wear/makeup.

    I'm happy with them.

I am a bit jealous of FI's eyes though. His eyes are super bright blue. I love them. At least we know our future/theoretical kids will have pretty eyes!

What colour eyes do you have?
Hazel. I was born with bright blue, which didn't fade until I was about 5. As a result, my eyes are still really light - brown-ish around the inside and grey on the outside. The brown colour takes over even though there's less of it, so they look hazel overall.

Are you happy with your eye colour?
I am. I don't have the foggy brown that a lot of people have - I still have that 'sparkle' that lighter coloured eyes tend to have. Where I'm from and in my family/BF's family, there are way more blue eyes than any other colour.

If you could change them (not limited to the procedure in the article), what colour would you want?
I wouldn't. I think my face would look totally washed out with blue and green would clash with my skin tone. Purple might be cool, but it wouldn't look real.

I have green eyes and I love them. I wouldn't want them to be any other color. My parents both have awesome eyes -- Daddy's are that sunflower blue (light blue with yellow around the pupil) and Mama has rich medium brown eyes. My sister and I both have nice green eyes.

I have hazel eys and I love them. I would never change them ever for any thing. In fact when BF was asked (not by me) what originally drew him to me, he said it was my eyes. So, yeah, not changing them :)

What colour eyes do you have?
Hazel, but more toward the green end.

Are you happy with your eye colour?
Yep. I love that my eye color changes a lot based on what I'm wearing. When I was little I didn't like having hazel eyes, because whenever we had to draw self-portraits in elementary school, there wasn't a crayon color for my eyes! There was blue, brown, and green, but no hazel. I had to color them in both brown and green, which always looked bad. Now that I don't have to draw myself in crayons, I like them :)

If you could change them (not limited to the procedure in the article), what colour would you want?
If I changed them at all, it would be to make them a true green.

What colour eyes do you have?
Blue. A pretty light blue, with darker rims. They look bluer or lighter depending on what I'm wearing.

Are you happy with your eye colour?
I love my eyes - they are my favorite feature. I hate my smile, so I like to play up my eyes as much as possible.

If you could change them (not limited to the procedure in the article), what colour would you want?
I wouldn't. The only thing I change is my hair color to make my eyes stand out more. They aren't as bright when I'm blonde (my natural color), so when I go darker, I love the contrast.

What colour eyes do you have?
Brown. My mom used to say 'brown M&M colored eyes', but they don't make that color anymore ;)

Are you happy with your eye colour?
Yep. The idea of modifying my eyes freaks me out. I heard about this procedure on the radio this morning. I'm scared of any and all eye procedures, especially something cosmetic like this.

If you could change them (not limited to the procedure in the article), what colour would you want?
I think my eyes should be brown. I know a couple people that sometimes wear colored contacts and I think that is silly. Its not like their actual eye color is bad, they just want another color. I mean, whatever floats your boat. I just think they don't need it.

My eyes are green, but a wierd mucky kind of blue green mix. I like them though, I'm the only one of my siblings without blue eyes so I thought that made me special when I was growing up. If I were to change them, I would go for an all over green.
I saw this article in the Toronto star yesterday was absolutely fascinated. What an amazing age we live in, you can modify almost any part of your body if you have the cash :)

My eyes are blue, so I would keep them the way they are I guess! I am happy with the color, it goes with my blonde hair. If I could change them I would want an even brighter shade of blue...

Green with a gold ring around my iris.

Are you happy with your eye colour?
I like them, but I wouldn't mind if the green was a little brighter.

I've always liked Elizabeth Taylor's eyes. They were so blue that they looked purple. I don't know if I would actually change them, though. I think that might look odd with my skin tone.

What colour eyes do you have?

Hazel...surprise surprise :) I was born with blue and then had dark brown eyes for a long time. When I was a teen I started to lose the brown pigment and now my eyes are almost entirely green except for a brown ring around my pupil.

Are you happy with your eye colour?

I like that my eyes are a bit different.

If you could change them (not limited to the procedure in the article), what colour would you want?

I don't know if I would permanently change the colour, but trying out blue eyes or bright green eyes for awhile might be fun.

If you could change your brown eye colour to blue, would you?
Nope, I love Daniel's blue eyes but I don't think I would look good with lighter eyes.

What colour eyes do you have?
Super dark brown. like almost black.

Are you happy with your eye colour?
Very, I think it makes me look more mysterious. lol

If you could change them (not limited to the procedure in the article), what colour would you want?
I wouldn't. My eyes are one of my favorite features on me.

What colour eyes do you have?
Blue-grey; looks more blue if I'm wearing blues or brighter greens (or pink, on the rare occasion that I wear that color), otherwise it looks more grey'ish

Are you happy with your eye colour?
Don't really think about it much, so I guess yes?

If you could change them (not limited to the procedure in the article), what colour would you want?
Nah; don't like the idea of playing with eyes.

I have dark chocolate brown eyes, and I wouldn't change them for anything. They are the same shape and colour as my daddy's and my Nana's, and I really like that.

Also, eye surgery (especially elective/cosmetic) freaks me out.

I love my blue eyes and would never permanently change them, but like Yaga I wouldn't mind having a couple pairs of different colored contacts to wear occasionally.  I think it's normal to get bored with looking the same every single day.

My mom has blue eyes, and I always wanted mine to be like hers, but I'm much darker than my mom so I think it would look weird. I have dark brown eyes.

I did try blue contacts once, but they looked muddy. Green ones made my eyes hazel, which was pretty, but colored contacts are uncomfortable!

I wouldn't surgically change them. That creeps me out. No needles near eyes, please. I heard from someone who had lasik once, and it grossed me out.

What colour eyes do you have?
Greenish grey - they change color a bit depending on the weather and what I am wearing.

Are you happy with your eye colour?
Yes, very. I like that they change color, and can either look light or dark depending on a lot of factors, especially who I am standing next to.

Like next to BFF, they look light....

But next to sis, they look darker....

If you could change them (not limited to the procedure in the article), what colour would you want?

I wouldn't change them at all! Different colored contacts every once in a while could be cool though.

I'm Asian and to have anything beyond brown would be freaky. Though I went through a phase in college where I wore green contacts but it just isn't natural. I have light brown eyes kind of amber. FI has blue eyes but I know my dominant genes will take over when we have kids. So in closing I like my eyes and wouldn't change them. In a way it would make me think that I was ashamed of who I am.

I have hazel eyes I've grown to love them but i always wanted blue eyes, luckily BF has blue eyes.  Every serious relationship I've had has been with a guy who has had blue eyes.
