Not Engaged Yet

Facebook lol

Girl posts a picture of a ring on *the* finger on Facebook... no one knows what to say because she has made up engagements numerous times in the past (not even joking).

She also was "married" once but I'm unsure if that was real or not.

I guess by now people are like "Oh, this again?"

Do any of you know someone at that level of BSC? I find it entertaining.

A girl on my FB just started dating a new guy about 2 weeks ago. She already moved back from California to be with him, and yesterday had her relationship status as engaged. Today she's back to in a relationship.... I don't understand! If you're engaged, you're engaged. If you're in a relationship, you're in a relationship. You can't just switch back and forth when you want attention!

I have a friend on FB who posted pictures of her ring when she (recently) got engaged but said she was going to wear her wedding ring right away too.  She had to have multiple people tell her that she shouldn't do that yet before she changed her mind.  I found it really weird.

The other friend isn't BSC just really annoying with her wedding posts.  Non-stop talk about the wedding, asking mutual friends if they got their invitations (and now asking if they're coming), and so on.  She sent me an invite on FB to come to the later half of the reception.  So I can't see them get married or have dinner, but I can come to the dancing part of the reception.  No thanks.  I should have sent her a link to the etiquette board :P

Wow that is pretty bad. To me that would feel like a pity invite. "sorry you really aren't important enough to come see the actual marriage happen and fill your belly with some good food but get on your dancing shoes and come boogie the night away!" yeah....not so much.

I have a girl on facebook who I went to high school with but was never really friends with and lately she has been messaging me a TON with her wedding concerns. (she is getting married in May 2012) I think she thinks she can relate to me one bride to another but honestly look at my ticker I am getting married in 2 weeks and I am too stressed about my own wedding to  care about your bridesmaid dresses being discontinued when you still have more than 7 months to go.

you know, I probably actually would've LOL

sheesh, I honestly think some people just don't think, or want attention ALL THE TIME...

I have a friend who got engaged in May, they broke up in July, then they tried to work things out in August, and last week she declared herself 'officially' single... I can only imagine how long this will last *rolls eyes* by the way, this is a friend I haven't talk to in YEARS...only know all of this because of her 'status updates' on Facebook

My sister got engaged to her boyfriend of six months (who is ten years older than her) in January and the only way my family knew is that she posted a picture of her hand on Facebook. It was super classy.
