Here's the perfect job for you...

There are a number of students that I'm trying to work with to get them jobs.

Wouldn't you be completely and utterly stoked if an HR professional was contacting you (more like chasing/stalking)- and offering to help improve your resume and then actually search for jobs for you!?

Hello? I would LOVE that type of assistance.

However- I have DOZENS and DOZENS of students that don't ever get back to me. I'll even revise their resumes- and I never hear from them again! Oy vay...It's annoying.

Today I was looking for a job for someone that I haven't heard from in quite sometime.

And I came across this-

I can't tell you how badly I wanted to send it to him...with some e-mail saying, "Hi Again. From my perspective it doesn't seem like you are trying very hard to secure employment. Maybe a job like this would be a bit easier for you...as it doesn't seem like you really want to revise your resume or look for jobs."

    LOL.  That would be hilarious.

But, yes, it would be awesome to have an HR professional helping me find a job and offering to revise my resume!  These kids... they don't appreciate ANYTHING!

BF is actually the mascot for the MLS soccer team at all of the appearances around town. It's a smelly job, but he loves it.

I had a friend who graduated with me and went to Europe for 6 weeks after graduation. She got back and my other bff sent her job after job after job, offered her help on her resume and everything. Teaching jobs are hard to come by and she kept complaining and never doing anything about it. I wanted to punch her so bad!

She did get a job, but her contract is for one year and one year only. She totally sucks at her job and gets into it with her administrators all the time. She thinks she's the best thing to ever happen to that school and it makes me want to throw things.

That being said, people are so annoying and immature when they don't take helpful, professional advice from people like you, peek!!

Bwa ha ha! That's awesome. :)

I am very motivated to find a job. I got my teaching resume all vamped up. I attended the pre-career fair meeting, and I'm heading to the career fair next week. I already have the districts that teach Latin circled on my map and my outfit (mostly) picked out. Fear me!

Actually, the refrain goes:  Hire me!
