Today is the day...

That I pick my ring! Money goes down today, final decision time. I hope we find something great and I'm not too indecisive. I hope the baby doesn't throw a fit and become a huge distraction (I'm bring extra bottles, cheerios and toys to try and avoid this one). Most of all, I hope I can remain calm and patient after I know which ring I will be wearing for the rest of my life. That's gonna be the tricky part....maybe I'll take a cell phone pic and have my own personal ring porn to tide me over. Wish me luck ladies, and happy friday to all!

Have fun today mama. Personally I wouldn't take a pic...you'll only torture yourself with it later if takes some time before he actually proposes. Enjoy shopping together and then try to put it out of your mind. It's not easy, but it will keep you sane!

oh - and fingers crossed your little one is on their best behavior!

I agree not to take a pic. I wished I did at first, but then I started to forget exactly what it looked like and wondered if I'd still love it. When he did pull it out and put it on my finger, it was like it was all new again and I was so excited and loved it! So I'd just pick it and forget it!!

I was on the fence about the pic, but I think you guys are right. It will be a much better surprise if I kind of "forget" what it looks like. Got to get ready now, I will let you know how it goes!

Oh, and if you're not completely sure about what you like, I would definitely recommend trying on everything because I picked something almost completely different than what I thought I liked in the catalog! Have fun! : )

Yeay for you Lil B! I agree about the pic too. BF put the ring right were I could see it when ever I wanted. I have stayed away for at least a month and I'm starting to forget the details of the ring. It will be so much more exciting now.

You are so strong, lol. I had a hard enough time resisting temptation to go back to the store to look at it. I couldn't imagine if it was in the next room. It will be worth it though! : )

Good luck!! FI got all mushy at the last wedding we went to and started talking about how he wanted to do things differently. We were NEY at that time, so yours may go there too, but be strong!! : ) It will happen soon! : )

You are strong too. I had my engagment ring right under my nose and never knew it and I'm so happy for that, lol. I think I'd try on the wedding band too if we had one already, lol. I'm so not looking forward to parting with my e-ring while they make the band though.

Oh, and I would totally want a pic just so you could post it here for all of us.  OR, take pics of the contenders and post them here for us.  Basically, I just want to see sparkly items this evening!
