Before/After pic and wine

I really should have taken a before and after pic because my apartment has just transformed from a messy, dirty, pig sty to a fresh-smelling, clean and organized haven in the last 3 hours!

I love a clean apartment. It's so nice, lol. I was cleaning in the bedroom and happened to look outside and FI has set up a tripod from his camera on top, yes, on top, of his car with an antenna attached to it so he can reach people with his radio, lol. Our future house is going to look so ghetto, lol.

Anyone doing wine tonight? I'm considering it, but I realized I'm afraid to. I am afraid I'll drink too much and then get munchies and completely blow all the hard work I've done so far. And I don't believe in the "I've been good all week, so I can splurge tonight" mentality. It doesn't work with my body. I'll regain everything I've lost times 2!!

I took pictures of our house before we moved in. I have the pics in their terrifying entirety on Facebook. I figure when we're finished remodeling, I'll just go through and take pictures again from the exact same angles. It'll be nice, especially when we get rid of the 80stastic wallpaper that's all over the place.

That looks like a lot of yellow, lol. Did they have the whole place the same color? I do like the fireplace and the stone in the front of the house though! When do you think you'll be ready for "after" pictures? I can't wait until we get a house and we can start making it our own too. Apartments suck!

I am going to reward myself with a bottle of wine once I finish cleaning. I ended up just crashing on the couch last night because my back was spasming. It's still doing it, but tonight I don't have much of a choice. BF's best friend and his new fiancee are coming over for dinner and my house is a disaster...even though BF has been home all week.

Ugh, the godawful wallpaper is that blue stuff on the pictures with the fireplace toward the kitchen. We've ripped off huge chunks of it. The panelling's going also because wtf.

And alas, we have to get rid of the stone around the fireplace because the people who installed it had NO idea what they were doing and didn't bother anchoring it into the wall, so it's slowly but surely collapsing toward the living room :|.

Haha, try this one on for size: one of the things they noticed when they were doing our plumbing was that whoever did the plumbing before not only left the primer out of the glue + primer reaction, they also supported the pipes with 2x4s instead of tying them properly. YAAAAAY!!!

Lol, that sounds horrible, but, in the mood I'm in right now, also slightly funny. I can imagine your fireplace creeping in on you slowly, lol. Maybe you can get your dad and his dad to make you a new and better one!

Ok, so I decided to overcome my fear and am now drinking wine and just finished some chips and salsa, lol. I'm still in my calories though and can even have some more chips if I want. Or wine. I haven't decided which is more important to me yet, lol.
