Wedding Band

So we've been having alot of trouble trying to find a wedding band to match my e-ring - which is very dainty and small and...unique.  While shopping for FI's band this weekend I had a jeweler give me some ideas and the only thing we found that I liked was actually diamond stackables.  And I REALLY liked the idea of getting two of them and placing one on each side - kinda made it look like we custom designed it to be that way.  They were outrageous at this particular jeweler, but I found some online and wanted to see what you girls thought about the idea.

FANTASTIC!! I'm actually considering doing something similar.  I love the look of two delicate bands surrounding an e-ring.  I think it would look great, Jeter!

LOVE!  I am doing the same thing Jeter. Even though my e-ring has pretty detail on it so does the wedding band... so I'm getting 2. one for each side.

I love love it. I plan on getting a my 3rd one sometime in the future... maybe after our first child or something. For now I just have the wedding band on the bottom, it looks just like your PIP.!!

FWIW, I looked around a lot online and in several stores and the best deal I found was at Jared's. It was $500. Not sure what your budget it.

I love small, dainty, and simple style wedding bands, but I agree with Heart.  I would need to see your engagement ring.

I like the idea a lot. More and more people are doing the double ring. I know a girl who got the second band for an anniversary present because they couldn't afford both at the same time.

This is the first ring I picked out.  It's three rings, including the engagement ring.  The think stackable bands were like $200 each, and were 1/8th of a carat.

I have no idea if that's a good deal...

Also, I'm pretty sure Hetshup is doing two bands around her engagement ring too!

Stupid question: how do you put them on during the ceremony? Do you do just one band then put the other one on after? Do you put them both on together then position them around the e-ring after? Do you shuffle them during the ceremony? I'm curious...

I found a neat saying with the ring exchange with the engagement ring. It said something about locking it in with the love, excitement, and passion that began the whole thing. I think it would be nice to write something like have the traditional wedding ring saying, the engagement ring saying, and then have the top band say something about the love that will be in the future.
