Eeeeeeeeeee!  BF is going to lunch and to talk with my parents today!  He is off work this week and has wanted to see my parents business anyway (they have a machine shop).  So he called them up last night to see about going over and having lunch.

My BF spent Christmas Eve with my dad like...two years ago, haha.  He didn't ask for my dad's permission to marry me then.  BUT, all my siblings thought he did.  So it caused for some awkward (and funny, afterwards) questions.

Don't get your hopes TOO high cause dating is still pretty cool

Oh, and not to be a Downer, cause it could really be awesome too   Parents are cool.

Oh, yes, dating is still pretty cool.  And if nothing were happening right now, it would be okay.  I am happy with whatever stage we are in our relationship, as long as we are moving forward, of course.  He has just been especially sweet lately, and maybe he told me what he told me what he was up to with them today.  It really just makes me excited because it is the next step in the process of planning our future together.  He knows that my family is so special to me and he values their go ahead for our planning.
