Try not to be jealous...

But I found my Official Kraft Macaroni and Cheese Fan Club certificate from when I was a child as I was going through boxes in my basement today. That's right, I'm an official member of the mac and cheese fan club!

It's crazy the things that I thought were sooooo important when I had to pack up my room when I was 9 years old.

mmm I am currently eating some bacon spinach mac and cheese right now. YUM!

Bacon and spinach? That sounds amazing! I'm starving right now. I packed up my sitting room and about 1/3 of my basement today. I'm sitting her snacking on Girl Scout cookies, thinking about what to get up and cook.

All of you suck.  I totally want some mac and cheese now.  *footstomp* stupid wheat disease.

ETA - that sounded really harsh.  I'm super jealous.  I walked past the gluten free version at the grocery store today and said "I don't want to deal with butter, milk and clean up", so my own dam fault.  Spinach and bacon in it sounds good.  FI does it with tuna, and it's delish.

I love tuna. I think my new almost favorite thing is this tuna mac and cheese thing that Annie's (that organic brand mac and cheese) makes. It's yummy. It's like white mac and cheese but with tuna in it.

As bizarre as it sounds we don't call it mac and cheese in Canada, it is simply kraft dinner.

Yep, totally Kraft Dinner (or KD). We call the real home made stuff macaroni and cheese (but still never mac & cheese).

In other news, I wish I was a member of the KD fan club. My Mom never let me join those things.

Kraft dinner? hahah I love that. It's almost like "I need a Band-Aid" or "Can you Xerox this?"

Now I want some Mac & Cheese.  Not EasyMac, I think that tastes awful.  The real creamy, made-with-milk Kraft Mac & Cheese.

And I never knew it was called anything differently anywhere else - I used to buy packets of it in China when I was living there as some comfort food, and they call it a Chinese phonetic version of "Mac & Cheese" (sounds more like "mao zi chi" but I dont' remember exactly)

I am unbelievably jealous of anyone who might be eating Mac & Cheese at this moment...

Ember, I hear ya about what you think is important when you're young.... I was digging through boxes that I packed up when I was 14 and never looked at again and it's funny what I kept and thought I could never part with... my favorite is the teddybear backpack that I'm heartbroken over because I couldn't justifiably find a reason to use it now! LOL

LOL! Never knew there was such a thing. Too cute. I KNOW you will be jealos when I tell you all that when I was in the 6th grade, I founded the NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK club in class. We made paper wallets with our favorite group member on it.
