AW: dress shopping

So I went dress shopping yesterday! My MOH was in town from Seattle this weekend, and I was really happy she was able to go with us. It was fun trying on dresses, if a little surreal and overwhelming. I liked a lot of different dresses, which I wasn't expecting. I'm picky, so I figured it would be easy to rule a bunch out.

Anyway, without further ado, here were the two favorites of the day:





I'm having a really hard time choosing between them. Yesterday, I thought I liked the 2nd one better, but now that I'm looking at the pictures, I'm kind of leaning toward the first. I think either would be great, and fortunately I have plenty of time to make a decision.

There's also one more dress that I absolutely love (clicky), but they didn't have at the store. They're going to call the designer and see if they can get a loaner so I can go back and try that one on to compare. If it doesn't work out, I'd still be comfortable pulling the trigger on either of the others.

So, what do y'all think?

I vote #2, but they are both beautiful. I think it really depends on what kind of skirt you are wanting.

I love the top of the first one, and the bottom on the second. ha. What does the back look like on the first?

I think you look gorgeous in both of them, and that you're right -- either would be great.

I think I slightly prefer the second, though.  I usually tend to like dresses like the first one better, but the shape of the second one really works for you.

I like the neckline of the first better, but the rest of the second dress better than the first. I LOVE the dress in the link you posted, and if they get the loaner and you go try it on you have to post more pics! That one is my fave

I like the 1st one!  I think it's more figure flattering.  But they're both gorgeous!

I want to change my vote to number one now too because I love the back, but still love the second one on you, so either way you're going to have a gorgeous dress and you will be stunning! : )

Ok, now I don't know what to vote. I love the back of dress #1. Although, I still prefer the front of dress #2. I can see your dilemma

Ha! That's kind of how I feel right now...

I'm kinda hoping the one I still want to try on will blow these 2 out of the water, so that I don't have such a difficult decision to make :)

So first I looked at the link of #1 and thought 'the back is nice but the front is just ehh'. But then I looked at the close up of you in it and it looks waaay better on you than the model! Definitely #1!
