WR DIY AW - Programs

I finished my programs last weekend but just remembered to take a picture of them today. For those who are my pinterest friends, you might have seen THIS inspiration pic.

The materials - I printed the programs on to one side of a linen sheet of paper. Then folded them, with double-sided tape and the popsicle stick in-between. We used a corner-rounder to make the edges look nicer.

All folded and taped:

Then it was time to tie ribbons! And here is one of the finished products...

<div>I'm happy to help! They really weren't too bad. My mom and I split the job, and I'd say it was about 6-8 hours of total work.</div>

  • I love those! Super cute--especially the WP silhouettes.
  • I LOVE them!!!  They are seriously amazing.  I can't wait to see one in person at the May G2G so I can read all the details.  Where did you find the silhouettes for the bridal party lineup?  I might seriously have to steal that idea from you!!

<div>One of the girls on my month board sent them to me. I loved them. It is really the ONLY reason I did a program. I wanted our wedding party to be recognized and I thought that was adorable. I can email you the file if you want (you too, rdr) and you can just put your people in!</div>

  • Those are very cool.
  • Those are great, Tiger! If I decide to do programs unlikely, I am so stealing the silhouettes.
  • These turned out fantastic. Really unique - I've never been to a wedding with a program like this. Love the little ribbon that you guys added.

  • They're really nice! Just out of curiosity, how many did you make and how long did it take total (like designing the program, assembling them, doing the finishing touches). I've never really done a lot of DIY and have no idea how long it takes...

Designing them took the longest. I'd gladly send you the file so you already have the bones of it. It took probably 34 hours to design. 20 mins at Office Max to print i bought 80 linen paper online. My mom spent about 3 hours folding and taping the handles on. I spent about two hours cutting and tying the ribbons. It could easily be done over a couple nights in front of the television!
