Today was supposed to be my day back on track, eating right, working out ... well that didn't happen.
I started out right, I ate my oatmeal and protein for breakfast and then BF and I got ready and he loaded me up in the car for our secret date. We drove about 20 minutes to this park near his hometown. We were going to hang out and look at the shops nearby, but there was an about an hour before this zombie march thing, so we decided to go for a walk through the park. Well he kept mentioning getting away from all the people so we could sit down somewhere.
We found this cute little spot with a waterfall, so I suggested we take our picture. We did that and this girl came and sat down nearby and started smoking a cigarette so we left. We walked a bit more until we finally saw another little spot next to this little stream. We sat down and were looking at the stream and all of a sudden he reaches over and grabs my hand. He starts telling me about how he has been thinking about spending the rest of his life with me and he wanted to make that a reality and then he asks me if I will marry him!!!
My first response was, "Are you sure?" lol, I meant to ask if he was sure because I wanted to make sure it was his decision and he didn't feel pressured (he has expressed that concern in the past) and he said yes, he's never been more sure of anything in his life. So I said "YES!" of course, lol. I started bawling and hugged him and finally he put the ring on my finger just in time for the light to break through the trees directly on my hand. It was perfect!!! : )
I spent the next 5 minutes hugging him and crying, then the next 20 minutes calling everyone in my contact list, lol.
I think I'm still in shock. It took me about 5 hours before I could stop smiling; my cheeks hurt so much, but it was a good pain, lol. I'm so, so happy and can't believe he actually did it and I think I'm still in shock! I'm getting married, ahh!! October 2012!!!
