AW: My first day of work!

So it was pretty slow, which is to be expected. One of my projects I have is to help gather contact info for a list of high-end press and celebrities that we want to invite to a tastemaker, which is basically a fancy film screening with a reception afterwards.

I am excited to see what other projects they have in store in for me!

That sounds exciting! And fun.  Do you get to go to this event you need to get famous people contacts for? If so, are you going to invite your favorite NEY-ers?

Some of my other duties will be to send out the "breaks" which is a list of newspaper, magazine, and online articles that mention any of the films on our slate. I will also be assisting at press screenings, and events like press junkets and premieres as needed. Hopefully as time goes on, I will also be able to pitch our clients to the press, which is something I've done before and enjoy doing.
