Finally get to relax for a millisecond...random life update

So I got through my big Mid Review yesterday and came out alive! Anyways, I've just been taking a little time to relax before jumping back into school work again. I was just thinking about some of the wedding stuff and thinking about how some things are so funny to just me...

For example: A month or two ago we went to do our flower consult with my uncle who owns a flower shop. I'm not super into the flowers. I just want them to be nice. We are doing blue in October, which apparently is tough flower-wise. So my uncle suggested we add something as a complimentary color, like peach. FI got super into it and loves the peach thing and was really articulate about the designs. The only thing I could keep thinking about was in the movie Monster-In-Law with J.Lo and Jane Fonda how Jane Fonda forced peach as a wedding color upon J.Lo. I just can't take it seriously. lol. The two look great together (my uncle is good at what he does), but every time I think that I'm having peach in the wedding I laugh to myself. I need to think of another name to call it. Here's a pic of our potential centerpiece:
There will be three of those roses around the bigger vase with tealights in between. My bouquet will be the hydrangeas with White and Peach roses.

We get to go to a Red Wings (hockey) game tomorrow night which I'm excited about. My mom works for an orthodontist who always buys season tickets for all the big sports and gives them to employees a lot when he doesn't use them. They're great seats and we have them for tomorrow =)

I am about done applying for grad programs. Although I'm not sure that I want to go right away. I don't want to go into that much debt right away, and I'm kind of burnt out with school. I want to just work and live in the real world for a little while. Maybe if I get an absurd amount of financial aid I'll go. Who knows!

Anyways, tomorrow is my last night of freedom before getting back into the grind. Do any of you ladies have anything exciting coming up?

This Saturday is Breathe Deep Nashville, a lung cancer walk. I'm excited to have my parents and Tyler meet one of my favorite patients and she's happy to meet them too! It's going to be a very pleasant day!

Next Monday is our make up anniversary day (our real anniversary was 10/18, but we've been nonstop since then -- Monday is the first weekday we've had off in common for probably four or five months). We're getting massages, going to an Egyptian exhibition at the Frist, going to lunch and seeing a movie. We haven't seen a movie since Harry Potter!

Have fun at the hockey game! It's been awhile since we've been to one, but one of my close friends has season tickets AND an employer with season tickets and she'll randomly text me and say 'wanna go to a Preds game tonight?' and I am ON that.

Your make up anniversary sounds awesome =) It's always nice to have mutual time off. I know how hard it is. I go to school and have two jobs and fiancé also ha two jobs so getting our schedules to align is next to impossible!

I like your colors. I'd have to laugh about having peach in the wedding too, lol. We're still trying to figure out what we want for centerpieces. I like simple, but pretty. We're also not allowed to have more than 1 candle per table at our venue, which is ok because I don't really want candles. This is probably going to end up being more my decision than FI's. He's not really all that into it, lol.

Have fun at the hockey game! I've only been to one Red Wings game, but it was a lot of fun! : )

Gross! lol But, the flowers look really pretty. Maybe you could just call it a muted orange, instead of peach?
