I just called our venue to tell our coordinator about the whole 'Four Weddings' business and she doesn't work there anymore! I had read great reviews about her and I really liked her, and now she's gone. It's funny (not really) because a couple of the reviews I'd read mentioned that their coordinator left and no one let them know. Her last day was yesterday and I think it would have been nice if they had called all the booked weddings to let them know.

Please tell me that it will all be ok and that no one there is going to drop the ball.

It will be more then okay...I predict they will be SOOO stoked about the Four Weddings that they will bend over backwards for you. They'll love the publicity.

It will be ok!  But I would give them a little come to Jesus talk and point out that they will be on TV they don't want to mess this up.

This happened to us too. We got married out of the country so it was probably a little more work than you'll need to worry about. Our first coordinator was great but she got promoted. The second coordinator SUCKED, but she got fired three weeks before the wedding (they didn't call us either). The third coordinator was great. We had to go over everything a third time a week before the wedding, but this girl was knew what she was doing and she was really nice. Our wedding was "perfect". We had no real complaints.

So, yes, I think you will be okay. It might mean a little extra work because you may have to go over details again with the new coordinator like we did but it's not that bad, just annoying. And you'll want to make sure they give you exactly what the first coordinator promised you. Don't let them tell you that policies changed with the new coordinator - that's their problem, not yours. You signed a contract for something specific so make sure you get it. Don't be afraid to be assertive if you need to be and I'm sure everything will turn out fine.
