Oh noes!!  How disappointing, frustrating, etc.  I hope you are starting to feel better.

The recent BSC was the only excitement lately.  I have certainly missed your opinion in the last month.  The times, they are a-changing.  (And I am still unsure as to whether or not I like them.)

Thank you.  Yes, Santa was very good to us.  I am due in early September.

    Yeah, I'm feeling much better. I'm finally back at work and almost up to my pre-surgery activity levels.  I feel really bad for FI. He had to miss his best friend's wedding when he stayed behind with me.  He rescheduled his tickets for early Feb. so he can go to another friend's wedding, but I don't think I'll be quite up for such a long trip so soon.  It just sucks, and I feel guilty although I know it's not my fault. Blargh. 

    I agree that the "flavor" of the board appears to be changing.  I'm afraid it's turning into the type of board that the rest of the knot makes fun of it for.  I'm glad to see you and some of the other regs are still voices of sanity though.  And I agree with Oceana's quote in your sig.  I like it when you get stabby too.

    It's a shame that all the boards on the knot (even P&E) seem to be getting less and less traffic. I guess I might actually have to resort to working on my thesis.. haha!

    No feeling guilty.  Here's to you just getting better.  Thinking good thoughts. 

    Yes, everything is weird around here but that doesn't mean you have to resort to actually working on your thesis.  What stage are you at and how much longer do you have to go?

    I'm in my fifth year, so in theory, I should be finishing up in the next 9 months.  I'm a little behind where I should be though, so I'm hoping I can be out in a year.  It hasn't helped that my advisor has been out of the country for the last three months.
