Seriously, I'm about to leave work and work from home.  Our phones and computers have been knocked out by power surges three times this morning.  And then a client picked up my keys on accident and took them with her.  As soon as they come back, I'm gone.  I can read the signs.  Something doesn't want me at work today.

How's everyone else's post-holiday return to work?

My post-holiday return also sucks. It's gloomy here today. It looks like the skies are about to open up and pour rain on me. I'm still trying to tackle all of the housework that was neglected this weekend, and no one of importance is working this week. Not to mention, most of my vendors that I work with are all off this week anyway, so it's a complete waste of time.

I think I'll save working from home until Friday. Today sucks.

My boss is in FL on vacation this week so there aren't any clients coming in. Hopefully I can get ahead on everything before he gets back and before we bring in the new year. Ive been super slacking lately.

I feel like sh!t today... I haven't had a good nights sleep in a few days because we were staying with my parents then his parents dog was staying with us etc... I wanna go home and take a nap (for several hours)!

There's a lull between Xmas and NYE and so I'm sitting here surfing the net.  There is work to be done but nothing that' critical.  So far its been really really quiet which makes me want to go home and curl up on the couch with my puppy and watch HIMYM and upload and manage the photos I took this past weekend. 

Peek I seriously think you should go home.  Its a big omen from the Universe!

I'm getting over a cold, I have a gyn appointment tonight which I always loathe, and my in-laws are in town till tomorrow.  So needless to say, I'm not excited to be at work today and I literally haven't done a damn thing here besides clear the 1300 (not even exaggerating on that number) junk emails from one of my coworkers email boxes in the 2 and a half hours I've been here already.

UGHHHHHH! That is how works going. It's not busy but I just want to go home and cuddle with my loves, who are still in bed btw. FI's has to use 26 hours of sick leave by the 31st so his boss is making him call in sick this week. The usual workaholic is going insane not being at work and I'm sure his employees are going nuts with him texting them all the time, lol. I wish he and I could trade jobs this week, I wouldn't mind taking Wednesday and Thursday off.
