Vibes Please?

A girl I used to work with down here transferred to another law firm a while ago, so she wasn't here when I got back.  But she is my roommates BFF.  So, I still see her quite frequently.

Last night, her exFI was killed in a car accident.  The office is kind of reeling from the news.  They were together for forever, and it was always off and on, even after they got engaged.  She has a little girl, not his daughter, but that little girl loved him.

Please keep them in your thoughts over the next few days.  I know they're having a rough time right now.

I don't even know what to think.  She broke things off about 6 months ago I think for good, but when we hung out last, we drove by his place to see if he was home/with someone else.  She definitely wasn't over him.  And my roommate just ran out of the office practically in tears.

The place where he died is the same place another guy in our office put himself in a coma.  It's so weird.  And so crushing in some ways.
