Bachlorette Party

Hey ladies since it's a tad slow on here today I thought i'd ask for your help. My cousin is getting married this October and her sister has asked me to help plan the bachlorette party. I've never planned or attended one before so i'm in need of ideas. She is a [super]mom of three and a homebody who could use some drinks and to be pampered. What would you want to do?

Why not do a spa day? Many spas have packages for bachelorette parties. Or if someone has a house where you can host it, you can hire the spa people to come to your house and do massages, mani/pedis, and you can have whatever food and drinks you like.

I second the spa day. It sounds like she could use some pampering and big girl time.

I've only been to two bachelorette parties, but I don't think anything we did for those would be the right choice for your cousin. But the trampolines were fun.

The pampering sounds like a good idea

I told my cousin (MOH) that I wanted to do a pole dancing class.

I'd vote for a spa day, too.  Not everyone is into wanting to go to bars and such (I know I wouldn't be for sure).  The spa day at home reminds me of what a friend had instead of a baby shower for her 2nd child.  She refused to let anyone throw her a shower, so instead she sent her husband to the movies with their 3 yr old and invited all of her friends over for brunch and called it her celebrating motherhood day.  She had a woman come in and give us all a beginner's yoga session and then had a massage chair set up.

Enjoy whatever you come up with!

Maggie- I don't know why someone would do that to themselves. But you could easily have a chef come in and teach you to make something. I had a sushi chef come for a party and well all learned how to make sushi. Or you could have mani/pedis. I am of the opinion that bachlorette party=/= wholesome. That's kinda the whole point normally.
