WSG: Goals for the week?

Let's start our weeks with a plan in mind! Who has a goal they'd like to accomplish this week? Who has an update on any goals they've accomplished so far?

I'll share, but I'm going to do so in a new post since I just announced in Polo's thread that I'm aiming for 200 posts this week. Tongue out

I just wrote two paragraphs, and then my effing cat walked across the keyboard and deleted everything. Trying again now...

    Ok, so...

Update: I'm down about two pounds, but I'm only counting one of them. I accidentally fasted for about 27 hours over the weekend (siriusly, how stupid is that?) so I'm sure one of those pounds is due to that and will come right back on this week. Gosh, I can't believe it took so long to get that pound off. Hopefully I'm just gaining some momentum and the next few will come off easier.

This week: I'm starting a running program similar to C25K. It's a little light compared to my typical running schedule, but I need that during this time of year. I have asthma and allergies that get really bad during the fall, so my already inadequate lungs are near useless right now. A light program is better than nothing, right, if it keeps me moving during a time of year I typically become fully sedentary?

Also, I just signed up to ride the MS150 next year! I did it in 2010, and it was a great experience. Here's a picture of me crossing the finish line (the wind in my jacket is really unflattering lol):

Yaga: I guess I'll forgive you now.

Liv: I think you're amazing. If I had a medical condition that was causing me to gain weight, I would give up altogether. You're going to be in such a good position once they get your diagnosis and treatment figured out, though.

I started today back on the right track after falling off the wagon for so so long. I've been keeping track of my points & right now I'm at 13 used.

I need to get more active but I can't decide if I want to start the C25K program again or do the 30-Day Shred again. It really kills me that I work so early because I absolutely HATE working out after work. As of now I wake up at 5:10 because I have to be at work at 6:30. So my goal for this week is to start one of those 2 programs tonight & stick with it everyday. I would be ecstatic if I could lose 2lbs this week.

[QUOTE]My goal is to go to the gym every day this week. Seeing as it is 1:16 and I have not been yet, it is not boding well for today. But I'll try to go tonight, or at the very least do my 30DS DVD. And I'm still gaining weight because of stupid Cushings. But my doc said I'm doing a good job of keeping it "at bay." Barf.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: WSG: Goals for the week? : Thanks, Elle, I really appreciate that. It's really hard to not give up on it because I see no results (negative results, even!) but the doctors assure me if I wasn't doing what I was doing, I'd be gaining 5-8 lbs per week rather than 2-3. I am hoping for a turnaround soon in which I'll see some positive reinforcement for my healthy habits!

I'm a dumbasss and fell down some concrete stairs and tore open my toe. So no gym for me this week. :(

I need to stay on top of my supplements this week. I can definitely feel the change in my mood.

Also- I'm going to be eating in all week this week! And planning out meals for next week. I also need to drag my scale out of the box and see what kind of damage I did.

I'll start going to a new WW meting in the Springs on Saturday. I hope I like the leader!

We are about to book a trip to Dominican so it's my new motivation to lose these 10ish pounds I need to lose.
My goal for this week is to do at least one active thing per day. I am hoping this means I will finally make it through week 1 of 30 day shred, but I know I always get bored and can't handle listening to Jillian for that long so I stop. I'm going to actually prepare meals ahead of time so that I have no excuse for going out to eat when there's perfectly good food in the house. On the weeks BF is home from work I usually don't end up doing much because we don't have much time together, but I'm going to put in a solid effort this week and hopefully he will join in as well since he wants to get in better shape for our trip.
For anyone who does do the 30ds, how do you find the motivation to keep going? I enjoy the workout, but I don't like to do the same thing everyday. Does anyone have a way to mix it up and make it more exciting? I want to actually make it through the first workout but can't come up with a way to keep focused for a whole 10 days.

I need to watch my portions better. I think getting back to my frozen lunches helps (as opposed to going out). I know they're not great for me, but at least they're portion controlled.

I'm now up to five hours of dance a week. But it would probably be better for me if it were more spread out instead of 1:15 (ballet) on Monday and 3:45 on Thursday (tap, musical theater, and contemporary).

I've pretty much screwed myself for my Halloween challenge, but I'm going to do my best this week (and next) to lose what I can before Nov. 5th (late Halloween party).

I'm also going to try to get caught up on the workouts that I missed last week.

I should be done with overtime for now though, so that will help me get back to a normal schedule!

Going to the gym 4 times this week starting tonight! I started up my routine again last week and am feeling better already.

BF has been proactive about getting me out of bed by 9 on the weekends and taking 5 mile walks with me :) Saturday AND Sundays for 3 weeks! I want to keep that up this weekend and dance the night away saturday at the concert I'm going to.

I started WW again last week and have been doing really well with not going over my points. Bye bye soda for reals...seriously it's been a few days (this is huge for me). I'm stepping on the scale in front of everyone at work for our biggest loser challenge that starts tomorrow. I think seeing that # will motivate me to keep going this week.

Sadly I don't have too many goals this week. Im at the theater late all week, just trying to avoid the junk food and candy as much as possible. Next week I can focus and get back to working out. Dust is collecting on the ellpitical.....
