I don't think I could steal from a muesum, I can barely take care of the stuff I

have let alone something priceless.

 

What is the lamest thing that your parents forbade you from doing?

The onlytime I was ever forbidden from doing anything was the two times I was

ever grounded and I completely deserved it each time.

 

What is your forbidden food?

According to my allergist pretty much everything. lol

I'm not familiar with the tanning habits of Canadians. I always burn on vacation so I'm assuming she's going to burn as well, and she should use some kind of sport sunblock because those always work the best.

      I would probably steal a very expensive and awesome car.

      My parents never really forbade me from doing anything. My friend wasn’t allowed to watch Eureka’s Castle when we were little, LOL

            Mushrooms and water chestnuts…I HATE HATE HATE the sound water chestnuts make when your eating them. BF thinks I’m crazy

 

And Paige may get burned. I never use actual sunscreen sunscreen except on my face I’ll get a 25. I always get a tanning oil/lotion with an SPF of around 15. I like Banana Boat. Paige- Do Canadians have the same 3oz rule for planes? I knew a lady (who worked for Northwest) who bought a $50 bottle of tanning lotion and tried to take it to Florida. They said NOPE and told her they’d leave it in the office and someone stole it when she got back. I usually just buy my lotion there but I hate only using ¼ of the bottle then throwing it away….

I would probably go to Ft. Knox and take lots of gold - does that count as a museum?

Chewing gum.

Right now there's a lot.  Cheese, white rice, not whole wheat anything.  Did I mention cheese?

Obviously she will not get sun burned because she will use No Ad, because it's the best and it's fitting in its anti establishment ways.

I solemnly swear to consume at least 10 minty drinks.  I prefer fruity to minty, tho!

OMG...my history degree is salivating about this...everything.  I would just take over the Smithsonian and own EVERYTHING!

5)      What is your forbidden food?  Anything too spicy...I have acid reflux so anything too spicy makes me tres ill! In the not forbidden theme:  Will Paige get sunburned, and what sunscreen should she use?I will NOT! I learned my lesson in FL when I was 12.  I burnt to a crisp.  I have 3 bottles of sun screen and they are all 30 or 45 SPF! My pale-freckled Irish skin will not be burnt!!

I would probably steal the Declaration of Independance...  I think it would be an AMAZING piece of history.

My mother was a complete witch and forbade me to do just about anything.

I know everyone says this but mine is seriously cheese.  Not just ANY cheese but this AMAZING braided, marinated mozzarella cheese... MMMMMM!

No, I think it sounds like Paige learned her lesson, so I don't think she'll get sunburnt.  At least I hope not!!

If I remember correctly Paige doesn't care for minty very much.

I have no idea what the Forbidden City is, but I wouldn't want to be a slave.

Some really nice jewelry with really rare stones. Natural History museum.

They never forbade anything.  But they ask me not to do anything that requires coordination.  They hate when I go hiking anywhere with steep cliffs.

I don't really have one.

5)      What is your forbidden food?  Why forbid a food? What did it do to you? (Major life-threatening allergies aside - even minor allergic reactions - sign me up. Hives for lobster? Risk I'm willing to take.) Everything in moderation!

Wear sunscreen. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience....

Yes, that's right, write. If she found my writing, she would throw it away. She even threw away my church binder( I was a leader for volunteer work at church) because it had "Crap" in it. She always ended up throwing away a poem I wrote for class (I was glad I made two copies of it.) But what now.. I'm published!

 

5)      What is your forbidden food? I don't really have one. But I guess it would be dairy because dairy makes me sick yet I eat pizza and ice cream anyways. And I guess ice cream would be my forbidden food because I gave it up for Lent.

If she wears sunscreen, probably not. I love coppertone sport, and I burn easily so I always wear at least SPF 30. Reapply every time you go outside or come out of the water if you go swimming girl!

Lamest thing I wasn't allowed to do: Be out after midnight if NOT being driven/ escorted by a guy - my parents were scared to death that I'd be kidnapped, but obviously not that worried about teen pregnancy...

Forbidden food: Hetshup, I also HATE cilantro - to me it tastes intensely bitter. I read that it tastes different to people based on some weird taste bud thing, and for lots of folks, its flavor is not so strong.

Sunburning - I sunburn a ton, and in case Paige can still see this, this is my method for how not to get burned in the Caribbean even if you are ghostly white: Apply SPF of at least 45 with UVA/UVB blocker while butt naked. Let it soak in 15 min (otherwise you can get burns right around the edge of your suit where it rubbed) then put on swimsuit. Reapply, and don't be in the sun between 12-2. If I follow the regimen, I can even get a tiny tan!

Oh good you got it! I promise it works - and the naked part is key, I really did get an outline-of-suit burn once in Belize in the minute areas where the suit touched the skin : )

Paige, be naked as much as possible, even if it's only for sunscreen. I used the coppertone in belize and anything it was on didn't get burned. I used a higher SPF of a different  brand on my face and shoulders and got torched.

i didn't have alot of restrictions really - no curfew , my parents trusted me to do whatever , i was always home by 11pm anyway - i was too much of a good kid back then..
