So I was sitting here and read the headline for NEY, ya know the "You've planned your flowers, found a gown...but no ring (yet)? Welcome to NEY.".
It hit me that have planned the flowers, and I have a gown (hanging in my closet), and there is a ring (in the box and bag in his closet). I'm not BSC though, for those who don't know...I'm just dating my exFI. I don't know why I read the headline today, but I realized that it's been almost an entire year since he had his melt down and we broke up and I moved. I guess I just I feel like time is flying so fast anymore, every time I turn around it's time to flip the calendar again. I can't believe that it's almost 2012 already!
Back to the BF and I, we are good, better now than ever before and being back on NEY has helped solidify the fact that I want to be with him and only him, despite the previous speed bumps and detour. So thank you, ladies for having this board and posting to the newbs about how if he is the one then it's worth waiting for the timing to be right...I know the advice wasn't directed towards me. We don't get to see each other that often with our busy-ness, he has two jobs and I have one job and school...sometimes our communication suffers because of us being unable to see each other or talk beyond emails and text, but we are dealing and doing pretty darn good considering. I'm just happy that we are together, in love and on a better path than we were a year ago!
Sorry for rambling, I just wanted to share my I'm not really BSC moment!
