Amazing Weekend - How Was Yours? (PIP)

I had an absolutely wonderful weekend and now I can't stop smiling this morning!

Friday I ordered a new love seat for my bedroom. My cat has clawed up all of the chairs i've attempted to put in that room...and I'd almost completely given up. Then I found this wonderful leather sofa for only $290 at American Furniture. They we're able to deliver it Sunday and my cat has not tried to claw at it even once. Success!


Saturday BF's parents took me out for a pre-birthday dinner. The food was amazing and we had a great time! I also got my amazing new steam mop in the mail. I've never bought anything off of an infomercial, but this baby seemed too good to be true. I used it on my tile floors this weekend and the verdict was: it's simply amazing. Grout that i've hit with harsh chemicals that didn't work was completely cleaned with just water. I was completely sold! (Have I sold you ladie's yet? hehe)


Sunday BF and I went to visit Lunar & Andrew at their new home! Lunar made an amazing brunch: egg bake, french toast with a yummy caramel sauce and fresh fruit. She even froze raspberries & mint in her ice cubes! What a rocking hostess - eh? Their new house is gorgeous and their neighborhood was so beautiful with all the golden aspens. So perfect we didn't want to leave. She also gave me an amazing b-day present - a scarf I've been drooling over for months. How sweet is she??? I didn't get a pic of the scarf yet, but here's one that's pretty similar. Mine is solid navy blue with burgundy threading in the middle. LUNAR IS THE BEST GIRLFRIEND EVER!!! I can't help but feel giddy that we've found a wonderful new couple to hang out with...and now i'm thinking of hosting a Christmas party this year with all our friends. How fun would that be??



so anyway - sending tons of love out into the universe this morning after a wonderful (and completely spoiling) weekend. I hope everyone else had a great weekend too. What were you all up to??

So wonderful that you had an amzing weekend! And Happy Bday pretty lady, you don't look a day over 21

Mine was fun. We chilled Friday night, I had a breakfast date and shopping date with my baby sister and then went to a party at my parents' on Saturday (where we watched the Cardinals and Pujols dominate the Rangers) and then went to a burger showdown competition with friends on Sunday. Plus had some of the best sexy time we've had in a while.   (more on that in another post lol )

It was very nice.

It sounds like you had an awesome weekend! And yeah, you've sold me on the mop. I'm adding it to my Christmas list!! I wish I could meet all you guys too!! Is it bad that I'd like to honeymoon in Colorado, just so I can meet you peeps? lol.

Polo: Freddy scares the crap out of me, but I love the evil gremlin one! : )

Oh yeah, and this weekend I got engaged, lol. Other than that I sat at Panera for about 5 hours working/googling wedding ideas/talking to my friend while FI and his mom took this gun class. BUT I resisted the muffins, lol.

Sounds like an awesome weekend (and I totally love my steam mop too).

FI had his bachelor party on Friday night and got completely hammered.  Poor guy slept on the bathroom floor and didn't stop throwing up until about 5 pm on Saturday. 

Then Saturday night we went to the Opeth concert...I was pretty disappointed.  I doubt anyone here has heard of them, but they have some pretty hard music, but all they played was really, really slow balads and had really long, pointless instrument solos.  We left before it was over...

Yesterday we got some wedding stuff finished.  I started putting together a box of all the stuff we need to take to the venue next Friday (candles, cardbox, cake knife, guest book, etc) so we don't forget anything.  Then FI called a few of his side of missing RSVPs and I started working on our seating chart (much harder than it seems).  We also finalized all of our ceremony text & vows.

My weekend was good. The shower went really well and my bestie loved it and had a great time :) Didn't feel like much of a weekend since it was so busy, but BF took such good care of me the whole time (took care of meals since I was busy, brought home wine, cleaned the house, rubbed my shoulders, attacked me with snuggles when he could tell I was getting stressed), so I really can't complain. I'm so lucky :)

wow so jealous you got to see lunar and her new house!

Sounds like a great weekend though.  Mine was spent mostly at the theater, except for bowling w/ the BF & friends on Saturday night, and I bowled real well, ha ha for me anyways.
