I had to show off my invitation sample...forgive the poor quality, my scanner pretty much sucks. I made this up before we had secured the reception venue, so we hadn't put the date on either. When I print them up, I'm going to retype, I had copied and pasted the verbiage and the program I was using didn't like the way it was formatted and left too much space and I couldn't fix it. It will be just one quarter sheet of white cardstock (it won't open) with the navy blue strip (we were playing with the 2 colors, so the other color is still showing on the sample). It's hard to tell from this picture, but the blue is kind of sparkly. It is embossed (I have a machine that I use to make it), but it's hard to tell that the stems of the flowers are embossed all the way down the blue strip and of course the sequins help to make it more sparkly. It's sweet and simple and just what we want (and even better, the only thing I have to buy for it is more ink, I already had all the supplies on hand).
