Your Weekly Dose of Drama

I have to hand it to this girl, she got SCREWED and took it completely in stride. The bride, were Miss Manners to hear of this, would be taken out and shot.  Although, Miss Manners might do it more politely.

Holy Crap! The bachelorette trip was/is popular with my group of friends and seems to be gaining steam the last few years, but we're talking a long weekend by car to Florida, Savannah, or Hilton Head. Not a freaking International flight to Puerto Rico! And None of us would ever, EVER imply that if you can't afford to go you might as well drop out of the wedding. What an entitled brat!

I'm going to tell all of my bridesmaids that if they don't pay for a bacholerette party in Puerto Rico that it's friends-off for life. And then I'll stomp my foot and cry about how it's my big day so the whole world should revolve around me up until after the wedding.

While I like drama, I love it when it's drama with people I "know" on the boards.   I seem to be more interested in in then.
    I'm not good at feelings.

I'm impressed with how the poster is handling that.  I would not be so sweet about it.

Audgie, I totally understand.  However, our recent lack of trolls has left me in need of giggle time.  And there's usually a TON of ridiculous drama over there.  So, that's where I get my giggle time.  There are so many entitled brats over there it's not even funny.

My favorite response was down towards the end of the thread.  Said something along the lines of "I'd just wrap the dress up and mail it to her with 'Happy Marriage'"

I have drama with this Audgie girl, you know her?

Peekaboo, that whole situation is just sad. And she just seems so okay with it!

I don't see a problem with wanting a bachelorette in Puerto Rico and then kicking out any BM who won't go. Seems totally logical to me.

<div>People like this bride think the whole would she revolve around them always. I doubt it is isolated to her wedding. </div>

I fully expect my MOH to fly all of the BMs and me out to Germany to have the bachelorette party there.  And if they don't like it, they're out.  I don't care what sort of financial constraints she has.  And while we're at it, no one can get married for the next ten years after my wedding.  It's MY decade.

Wow.  The only names I can think of for this bride I don't use out loud...
